The tail piece look great on my re-conditioned 1966 Guild X-500.

I am a big fan of the reborn D'Angelico company and have owned several: a Deluxe Atlantic Ltd, a Deluxe Bedford Ltd, and my current #1: A 2013 EX-SD flame maple sunburst—which is a perfect LP-style guitar that's better than any LP I have played. Plus, you get excellent customer service, great personal communication, quality parts and merch. Keep up the good work!

I wasn't sure if I could get anyone to respond to my problem....but I was pleasantly surprised! Good communication makes a world of difference when there's a problem.

Just needed a new handle for my amp - My Supro Blues King Amp handle just split in two (?) I have no idea how it happened. You sent me a replacement that fit and now I can carry the amp again.

I own a few D'Angelico guitars, and I love them all. The customer service is exemplary.

I'm pleased with my order. It arrived well-packed and undamaged, and of course the quality is first-class.
The only glitch was in the online ordering process itself. I attempted to purchase four of the wooden control knobs, but the site would only accept an order for one. Then, at checkout, it was revealed that the knobs were out of stock completely and unavailable. That said, overall I'm a satisfied customer, and would order again from D'Angelico.

I’m a big fan of the Deluxe Baritone Atlantic, which makes playing almost effortless. I developed my style by putting giant thick strings on my SG and tuning it down, but the tuning heads kept exploding from the tension so I decided to upgrade to a real baritone. I couldn’t find anything as fun to drool over as the beauty and majesty of D’Angelico so that part was a no brainer. That being said, when the Deluxe Baritone SS arrived I found it relatively unplayable. A lot of that is my fault because I play percussively and I couldn’t find any way to get a decent kick or snare sound without plinking against the massive Great Dane P90 next to the bridge. Without pulling my hair out I discovered a solution. I raised the action just high enough above the P90 and then compensated for that by turning the truss rod clockwise to lean the neck back away from the bridge and now the action is just as fantastic as my Baritone Atlantic. Don’t tell my Atlantic, but the snare sound on my Deluxe SS is actually pretty awesome with a nice woody thwack to it.
