First time using the Meadow for our Ernie boyz, this is a great concept and really enjoyable for our dog. However, people need to stick to the rules, the previous people were late vacating their time slot which impacted us.
You've set it up so its easy and stress free, people nèed to be mindful.

Brilliant set up

My son is autistic and has a very precious assistance dog. He has high anxiety about letting the dog off leash and whilst the dog is walked miles daily, he is walked on a long training line. The New Forest is fraught with anxiety for walking amongst animals and the possibility of escape. We use a secure field near James home. I booked the meadow this weekend to allow the boys to enjoy themselves. What a success! The facilities were perfect - no other dogs around, secure high fences, clean cut grass and easy entry with the code given. Figaro was thrilled to really run around and it was good for James to have a session on recall. The perfect solution. I am about to re-home a pooch and intend to use the facilities until my new dog is used to me. What a great idea.

Absolutely Horrendous

Absolutely Horrendous, did not expect to be abused, If there was a minus 100 stars , I’d would give them that,! today I booked the meadow, and the entire time I was there , there was a group of people all stood watching my every move, I felt I had no privacy at all , it wasn’t enjoyable, I came out the exact time my booking was up at 11,25 am then I took a few minutes out of the field , so the meadow was free, putting all the poo bags into one bag, as I approached the car park a woman with white grey hair half owner I’m told started to gave a go at me in front of the group she had been stood with the entire time watching me, she told me I should of been out at 11,25 am, I told her I was , she then had another go at me and her words were to stop talking to the man who first spoke to me ,as he asked where my car was I told him I was waiting for my son to collect me , baring in mind I have heart failure and take the dog to dog parks as it’s easier for me to, the owner told me to stop talking and to get the hell out of there , I said to her excuse me , how dare you be so rude and I’d be putting a review in about this , I was made to stand by a busy main road waiting for my son by this very rude woman with no manners or decorum ,I was extremely upset by this situation , I want anyone who considers using this place to be careful that they are not verbally abused and attacked by this vile woman , I have been to many dogs parks and have never been watched or ganged up on and certainly not abused in such a way , it’s not a nice experience and suggest people avoid at all costs the dog park in Bransgore is far nicer and ferndown without the abuse

Gem of a Place

Thrilled to have found this gem of a place to allow my 5 month old puppy and older rescue dog to explore and play together, ideal for off lead training too. Peaceful and very secure, love that there are horses nearby, great for getting youngsters used to their presence. Great value, will definitely use again.

I took my 11 month old Teckel there to see what her recall was like and she was great. We had a long run in the meadow, very secure and a great place if your dog needs a stretch. Very clean in closure aswell, I would highly recommend.

A brilliant facility for safe ‘off the lead’ activities.

A brilliant facility for safe ‘off the lead’ activity for dogs. I use it for Saffi when she is in season to save us both the frustration of having to walk the streets with her on lead to stop being pestered by other dogs or her gaily running off to find a ‘companion’. Water and Poo bags and bin all provided.

Great for reactive dogs

Very safe field and good arrangements for reactive dogs - you can't see dogs passing by on the outside of the field and they have clear rules in place about waiting in your car until the previous person has finished up in the field. They also provide running water and a poo bin :)

The field was nice and spacious but we like to go to a field with my daughter, she has 3 small dogs, we have 2 large, but the field only allows 4 dogs, so we won't be visiting again, simply for that reason. This is the only time the dogs get to socialise all together.

Great value

This place is perfect for my 18 month old Bullmastiff, (the meadow is fenced all around). He can run around the field with no worries about the distraction of other dogs & recall.
At £10.00 for an hour, it's well worth it.

Perfect space for our massive puppy…

Perfect space for our massive puppy have a good run about and play. His recall is hit and miss ( especially if other dogs about) and the space provides safe area for training. It's also been a saviour for me! I dislocated my collar bone from the shoulder and don't have the strength to walk far or hold the lead for long. Without it I would have been stuck. A few more logs, trees etc be good for additional sniffing.
