Jim called my personal cell phone…

Jim called my personal cell phone soliciting their services, upon question he refused to transfer me. Upon calling their main number, no sales person would pick up the phone and then calling back to the support line, it went to voice mail. Besides harassing sales calls to numbers on the Federal Do Not Call List. They literally can't even pickup the support calls... no wonder they need to user incorrect lead lists.

We gave this product every chance

We gave this product every chance. It failed at every turn.

We are a managed IT service provider. We signed an agreement with Cyberfox to use Password Boss internally, with the intention of rolling it out to our client base.

We never got that far.

Over 5 to 6 months, our entire team of 20 tried to make this product work. Not casually. Genuinely. We wanted it to succeed because we had a business case for it.

The problems were consistent and serious. Passwords would auto-fill in the wrong fields. Users were constantly getting logged out with no explanation. Passwords entered on one device simply didn't show up on another. Cross-platform sync, which is arguably the core function of a password manager, was unreliable to the point of being useless. One by one, every single person on our team stopped using it. Not because they didn't try. Because it didn't work.

We engaged their support team throughout this entire period. The response was always some version of "the next version will address that." Months of promises. No resolution.

We have documentation. Support tickets. Email threads. A clear record of us doing our part.

Because our own staff couldn't use this product consistently, we never put it in front of a single client. We protected our clients from it. That's not a small thing for an MSP.

Cyberfox is now pursuing us for $3,500 for a product that was never functional. We have disputed that charge.

If you are an MSP evaluating this product, I'd encourage you to look carefully at the reviews, ask hard questions about cross-platform reliability, and make sure you have a clear exit if the product doesn't perform. We learned that the hard way.

Stay far away from Cyberfox products

Cyberfox purchased PasswordBoss and now the poor support they had just got worse. Stay away from this company and their products. Very buggy and NO support. They will never respond to tech support requests and you will never get a live person calling their phone number. Save your money and buy from any other company. My PasswordBoss app does not work at all in the latest version of iOS any longer. They have not updated the software nor do I think they have any plans to do so.
