It is our policy not to engage with paid for Review Services and we do not therefore monitor this page on Trustpilot. We do however check in from time to time to ensure no customers had issues and if they have we do reach out to them and we expect this to continue under Ares. CUSTOMPC.IE ceased selling components and accessories on the 30th of September 2024. All custom desktop pcs , laptops , servers and workstations with warranty have been transfered and all customers have received new contact information to ensure they have even better support than we have been able to provide over the last 15 years. Custom Computers and Technologie Limited is no longer involved with CUSTOMPC.IE We would like to thank our loyal customers in Ireland and everywhere else and we would like to ensure all of our customers are aware that they have support from A.C.T. who have sent emails to all customers providing new support information and details. Our decision to cease selling components and accessories came from this being a service we started in 2021 to assist customers impacted by the rules change with regards Brexit in January of 2021. This service was never intended to be in place for 4 years. Unfortunately we had to cease providing this service after consultation with our core customers and we provided 120 days notice of the end of component sales. The transfer of CUSTOMPC.IE was never intended to take place in the same year however we felt this change would ensure continuity and better support across Europe and in ireland for our customers who had purchased custom pcs , laptops , servers and workstations. Component and accessory sales were reasponsible for less than 20% of or sales however 80% of our support tickets were from this 20% and this had impacted the level of support we could provide to the many customers who relied on us for support for their workstations , servers , gaming pcs and laptops which is why we took the decision to cease selling components and accessories. The opportunity to ensure a better level of support from our core customers came about as an added bonus and we could not refuse the opportunity given what this meant for our loyal customers. Support is still available direct at CUSTOMPC.IE and through the normal emails and we do not believe this will change given there was an undertaking to ensure the same email addresses were to be live for at least 12 months. The CUSTOMPC.IE brand is not part of the ARES Group and we expect the brand be taken to new heights by ARES.

We asked you to tell us which Ryzen Processor you were using so we could organise for example an A520M however you sent an Emoji instead of providing the information we needed to recommened an alternative motherboards. I would advise you to log into your account and to cancel your order however if you wish to provide the information regards what ryzen processor you are intending to use then give this information to our support staff and they will help you choose an alternative motherboard.

Good and responsive company to deal with

I was happy with my dealings with CustomPC.ie. Customer service responded with relevant information and dealt with tickets rapidly after the initial quite long delay.
Only criticism I would have is that the delivery of my CPU cooler took more than two weeks and was the last component to arrive.
Their reply to this comment contained information that they did not communicate to me at the time, and which would have made me write a more favourable comment. I think to make things perfect, all they need to do is increase the size of the service team, to shorten the response times.

Nick , thank you for your review. Unfortunately the delay with your BeQuiet cooler was related to the initial model supplied not have the AM5 or 1700 bracket and was clearly older stock. When we realised this we asked for the newer version to be supplied and this did add almost 5 business days to the order and for that we apologise. It is our policy to ensure the description matches the supplied product and as this model stated the newer brackets were included we delayed the order until the correct version arrived. This is not a low cost cooler and is a BeQuiet Pro 5 so we needed to ensure you got the exact model you ordered. We do carry this model in stock for our own builds however none of our own stock included the updated brackets and we had not offered the cooler as an option on the AM5 or Intel 1700 however clearly BeQuiet updated the cooler to be compatible with AM5 and Intel 1700. Please accept our apologies for the delay which was created.

Excellent Customer Service

This is the second time I've bought a PC from CustomPC.ie and they've been great both times, but this time was really fantastic. I wanted to trade in parts of my old PC and was asking about how to recycle the rest. They told me if I sent in the entire PC they'd give me credit for all of the parts after they tested them and responsibly recycle/reuse the rest. Process was easy to do that, and had credit added to my account within a week.

Then when I purchased the new PC they were very helpful with payment and they also wrote to me about three improvements I could make to my build. Two of them they offered free of charge and the third I just paid the difference to get a significantly better GPU for not much extra. The fact that they would take the time to assess my build like that and offer me recommendations (two for free) was really amazing. Couldn't have asked for better customer service the whole way through.

I haven't received the new PC yet, but I will update this/write another review when I do and have tested it for a few weeks. But so far, very happy customer.

Robbers!

I placed an order with this company for almost 2000 euro, PC arrived with faulty graphics card, and would not turn on. I returned it for replacement or refund. Got accused of damaging it and demanded to pay another 700 for replacing graphics card. Three years of going through hell and further 1000 in legal costs, and I still have neither PC no refund. It is a pure robbery.

If you're looking to buy a new computer or just looking for advice, these guys are the place to go. I bought a laptop from them and they were very helpful and gave me some great advice. I couldn't recommened them enough

Edward , Component and accessory orders can take between 5 and 10 business days depending on the items orders which is why we state this on the product page and in the order emails. We do however have a NEXT DAY RANGE of around 1000 products which covers many of the most popular items and products ordered from this range are generally delivered next day one the order is placed before 2PM. Haseenah , You ordered a monitor on the 22.10.23 at 9.30PM and we processed your order the following day which was monday the 23rd of October 2023. We shipped your order on the 1st of November with DPD.ie and you were sent emails confirming the delivery tracking number and prior to that emails confirming your order was updating. Monitors not ordered from our Next Day Range can take up to 10 business days to be received as we only ship monitors into Ireland using Road and Sea Freight due to the size and weight and this is why we state on every monitor product page that the delivery can be up to 10 business days from the day an order is processed. You can also log into your account to view the status of your order and to contact support to get updates. Your monitor shows as delivered and your would have received an email with tracking information on the same day you placed this review. Can I please ask you to reconsider this review based on the delivery information stating your order would take up to 10 business days. Thank You

Your order was delayed as you used an offline payment method " HUMM " and when you place using a payment option were we do not received payment at Checkout the items ordered are not held for your order until we receive payment and with HUMM this can take up to 3 days. In that time items can do out of stock but this is 100% related to the payment method and not our procedures. You should discuss this with HUMM and they will explain why their service can take 2-3 days. Your order was placed on the 21st of October and we shipped your order on the 31st of October 2023 with DPD.ie and sent you tracking information at 1.41PM on the 31st of October which was well within the stated 5 to 10 business days stated when you placed your order.
