Pricey Working Well 3 yrs
Current has excellent remote control and programmable aquarium light systems! The programming can be a bit challenging and the directions are not easy for maturing minds of older people, and those who are busy to easily recall. But YouTube has a few influencers who put content out of how to adjust the lights. The light, when properly programmed can turn on and off, on schedule. You can interrupt the program, or don't program it at all, to switch the color schemes up for any length of time. Once you are ready, if programmed, push the resume time button and it will go to the set program. During outages I discovered that trick so I never had to reprogram it again. Some people give the company a bad review because it can be challenging to program and it requires a little thought or a simple call during their working hours to fix problems. I highly recommend purchasing these lights because my plants LOVE them! 3 planted aquariums thriving and I don't have a greenthumb!😏 If you are new to aquarium plants I strongly advise these lights. They're not hard on the electric bill and they're adjustable light combos that promotes plant growth! It's pricey so look for deals. If it was not so pricey, or for the price it included a backup battery, I would have given it 5 stars! For my 24" top current light with remote and nothing more (i.e. no backlight or back drop or speakers) I paid well over $100! My 75gal complete light system with everything including speakers was almost $300, and on my 200gal the complete system was almost $400! The backlighting is not as helpful or useful as I imagined, but it's different. 4 stars yes I recommend.
