Excellent exchange rate
Excellent exchange rate. Second to none. Transfered a large amount of money which I was a bit nervous about at the time. Customer service was great. One issue I did have though was that I couldn't easily find an option to send a receiver message for the transfer.

I transferred Euro to USA with good exchange rate
I transferred Euro to USA with exchange to US-Dollars. The exchange rate was much better than at my Sparkasse in Germany, and the transfer worked fast. At each step I got sufficient information about what's going on.
Only the identification process was a little bit complicated.

No problem with currency fair as their charge explained up front but receiving bank charged nearly £9 to complete transaction, so for a small deposit half went on fees which i didn't expect. Disappointed

We understand your disappointment regarding the unexpected fee. Since we don’t have a local bank account to catch these just yet, sometime banks take a fee before the funds reach the destination. While we can't control those external banks directly, we know that’s a pain and are working hard to address this.

Always easy to carry out transactions. I use CF to regularly transfer funds to my French a/c.
When I have made mistakes they have been corrected by CF staff.
Also, the best exchange rate I can find.

I’ve been using CurrencyFair for 10+ years to transfer hundreds of thousands between the USA and Europe and never had any issue. Fast, reliable, and cheap with the best possible rates. Two things could be improved: It could be even faster with instant transfers (in the EU), and less finicky with exact amounts.
