We happily watched for 2 years
We watched for 2 years, many great shows to see that matched our interests. Was able to watch on iPad, iPhone, SmartTV app. Will come back in a few years to see if there is more content, but for now we will find another streaming service to spend entertainment budget on. The service just renewed, and I noticed we had (for now) exhausted the content. So I called to cancel the annual renewal and get a refund. They did it via Chat on the web *very fast and easy*. Great customer service. Good sub.

My Subscription…
Due to my own failure my subscription automatically renewed for which I wasn’t ready to renew. After I contacted help at Curiosity Stream I was very pleased with their solution. So very well handled and so professionally resolved.

I do not recommend this service
I originally subscribed to this service over a year ago. I totally forgot to watch it as I was traveling. On Jan 19, 2026 I emailed them asking them to cancel. I received a response leading me to believe it had been taken care of. Today, April 19 I received an email asking me to update my card on file so they could charge a new annual subscription. Fortunately, the card on file was expired. I had to use my computer to access their website to cancel as I was unable to do it on the phone app on my phone. I do not recommend this service due to scamming people for subscription renewals after submitting cancellation requests.

I didn’t want a streaming service
I didn’t want a streaming service. I somehow signed up for it thinking I was signing up for something else. I am old and it was easy to make this mistake but Curiosity returned my money when I told them what happened. Great company to do business with.
Outstanding Customer Service
On April 14, I contacted Curiosity Stream about my subscription made the previous day. I had inadvertently subscribed, thinking I was on a different online site after much browsing for something else entirely. I was helped by Nikka, and found her assistance most helpful, even pleasant. My goal was to cancel the unwanted new subscription and have my annual fee refunded. She patiently heard my explanation of my ordering error and politely and sympathetically granted my request. I await the refund showing up on my card statement, and am quite confident that it will, given Nikka’s sincere desire to help, and professional knowledge and demeanor. If all of the Curiosity Stream customer service reps are as good, it is a special business model indeed! Thank you, Nikka!

Easy refund despite not being policy
Had cut back and eliminated most streaming services because they weren't being used. Thought I canceled this one too, even deleted the app. Saw the charge show up for an annual renewal. Contacted them via the chat and Jessa was able to process the refund for me. This will be one I come back to in the future.
I am disappointed in this streaming…
I am disappointed in this streaming channel. It has very limited documentaries and very limited categories. I was hoping for loads of documentaries on subjects of interest and learning but this certainly lacks. I wish I had paid for a month instead of a year and I hope they will add a lot more documentaries then they have right now. If any of your family members like true crime, this is certainly not the place to go.

unexpected renewal
i didn't realize my subscription was due to renew a few days ago and the money was taken from my bank account. things are a bit tight right now, so i wanted to try to get a refund.
i didn't hold out much hope, but when support answered the chat, he was SUPER friendly and understanding. he immediately offered me a one-time renewal and was incredibly kind and polite the entire chat.

I am a new customer of Curiosity stream and am already very happy with their customer service. made an error while signing up for the service, but a quick email to customer service brought Nikka to the rescue! Tantamount to Fraud
Dreadful. First they double the price of subscription and then charge my bank without prior notification. Trying to get a hold of their so-called "customer service was a complete waste of time: no one answers the phone, no one responds to the chat. PLEASE NOTE: These problems are a COMMON COMPLAINT. Check out the internet. Curiosity Stream charging higher prices without notification and zero customer service on the issue are a wide-spread issue.

Cancellation
I've had Curiosity Stream for many years, and have really just exhausted the titles I'm interested in. I called to cancel, and the customer service rep, Jessa M., was not only helpful in making that happen, but very personable. I may return at a later date if I see more space/science related titles.
