Had the WORST experience with this…

*UPDATE, the write back to email them and “senior management will call” been one month of me emailing the “senior management my details and NO CALL BACK* not shocked , 1 month later I still feel as mad as before . DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE

Had the WORST experience with this company. After reading reviews not sure how this has this high of ratings . This would Have gotten 5 stars on pick up and moving it but the delivery….. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I scheduled my pick up with my movers on Monday Jan 5th. Took the day off work drove in a snow storm to Burlignton location at the time I was supposed to go , just to pull into the lot and not know where I was going or having an direction, signage or clue. I called customer service right away and told me to drive to the way back of the building? Anyways found all the cubeits. I then called a second time back to the same customer service as my number on my storage unit wasn’t viable and didn’t look like a few others neatly placed for pick up. I spent 35 minutes with my movers trying to locate my number. I found it under 5 other units! Not ready to be picked up that day and no way to access it( see uploaded pictures)

I then called back a 3rd time and the agent said “no pick up is tomorrow” when I asked to speak to a manager the manager informed me no the pick up was today and he had no clue why it wasn’t ready to be unloaded. I wasted $500 paying the movers to basically just go home as we wouldn’t be able to do the job that day.

I then called back and arranged delivery to my new address. I got a voicemail from a manager saying “ALL FEES WOULD BE WAIVED” , this is indoor rent in the story since he failed to mention that there was a charge for “gas and negotiable driver fees “

Anyways they schedule my delivery for today . Between 7am and 7pm. I hired ANOTHER set of movers . I get a text at 11:39am saying our truck will be at your house in 15-45 minutes. I call the movers to come for 12;30pm.

At 12:35 everyone was there ready to help. No cubeit no truck . I call customer service AGAIN at 1pm saying okay now it’s 1 hour late I get this answer “well we can’t call our drivers it’s against the law , and maybe there is traffic “ how does this make sense ? Why would they tell you a time before the driver punches it into the GPS. I asked that agent to speak to a manager .. he said yep as long as I put a claim in by 2pm today a manager will call you back by end of day…. Well end of day happened NO call back. Also I am getting charged for the delivery of $115 , I’m not sure what else will get charged but will wait and see.

I have warned all my contacts already, the movers I used today and the movers Monday to warn their clients about this company. I will continue to tell the public how HORRIBLE of an experience this is. No one will even call you back from a higher up position. What a horrible company

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE. They were meant to come at 10am and every time we call they say 5 minutes to half an hour. We have now been waiting four hours and they are telling us one more hour. We have eight people ready to go and rented the elevator. This company is atrocious. Apparently they took on another job that was closer and that's why they're going to be 5-6 hours late

Cubit portable moving/storage pods are…

Cubit portable moving/storage pods are Awesome!! Great price..Great service every time(3×).
I have used them 3 times now. Each time the same Great experience.

They have made my moves so easy compared to hiring a moving company or haul. If you don't want to do the labor on your own move, just hire from a local labor company(Rhino, Labor Unlimited, etc).
On Vancouver Island they have a lady truck driver(Shawna)who is Wonderful!
Great Price..Great Service..Highly Recommend!!

Cubeit Storage has been the worst…

Cubeit Storage has been the worst company I have ever dealt with. They advertise “easy access” and “service based on your needs,” but in reality, access is unreliable, staff are unprofessional, and management refuses accountability. On more than one occasion I made arrangements to access my unit and was outright denied — once even after traveling, booking hotels, and taking time off work.

The service has been discriminatory and degrading. A manager repeatedly called me “ma’am” after I clearly asked to be addressed by my name, told me she had the “right” to misgender me, then refused to help and hung up. That is not only unprofessional, it is a violation of my human rights.

Instead of fixing their mistakes, Cubeit contradicts itself, ignores emails, hides behind customer service reps, and leaves customers with blocked or inaccessible units. On top of all this, they increase the rental price every few months while providing less and less service. They take your money but do not provide what they advertise or what their contract requires.

I strongly warn anyone considering this company: do not trust Cubeit with your belongings, your money, or your tim

Poor Communication and Confusing Voicemail

I submitted a quote request and received a voicemail response. Unfortunately, I could barely understand a word the caller said — the audio quality was poor and the accent made it difficult to follow. She mentioned they didn’t service the area I requested, but didn’t clearly state what area she thought I was in, so the message was confusing and unhelpful. I gave up trying to decipher it and moved on to the next company. Communication needs improvement.

I’m going to repeat what another…

I’m going to repeat what another customer has said If you want a hassle free and feel secure of your belongs . DONT use them.

* I accidentally missed a payment because I am out of Canada.
* The fees kept adding up so they could lock my unit and sell off my belongs.
* They kept sending harassing emails and threatening to cut the lock and sell my belongs
* When I finally realized what had happened by day 45 my lock was cut and the container sealed for my belongs to be sold
* At day 45 a lien had already been applied and I was charged $685 and then they added 1 extra payment to make it $974 and would not take partial payments or try to help rectify the situation.

Thank God I’m in a situation I could easily pay them off once I realized that the payment was missed …but their goal is to steal and sell off your belongs and squeeze you for every dime they can.

Used them for 6 months and mice ate…

Used them for 6 months and mice ate threw the floor and pissed and shit all over my stuff and chewed alot of it up. When i called and told them they said that there was no holes in the floors. They are liars and cheats and i have pictures of holes. They dont care about their customers and there stuff horrible company do not use. Also all are stuff was damp and wet and floors had water stains after unloading my stuff.

“Don’t not use this company “

they first off give you a quote
Then they charge you way more .
They also left the container for over two weeks on a site of drop off .
(Not very safe or secure)

For one month (not even) of storage
Was over a grand . They are very unprofessional .
I have used another storage company before and They were way better way more professional plus cost less.

If you want a hassle free and feel secure of your belongs . DONT use them .

Just got scammed from these guys

Just got scammed from these guys. They asked me for my credit card over the phone. Then charged me immediately even though they said no charge until delivery. After this I cancelled the delivery. The charges have not yet been reversed and now my brand new credit card is getting mysteriously charged.

I wish I read the reviews here before going with them. I trusted the Costco recommendation, disappointed that I was lead astray.

NOT TO MENTION THEY WILL KEEP TAKING HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS OUT OF YOUR BANK ACCOUNT AFTER THEY'VE PICKED THEIR BIN UP ALREADY! WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH A COMPANY!!!

AVOID!!!!!AVOID!!!!AVOID!!!…

The absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. Not an ounce of truth ever came out of anyone from that company. They will leave the storage cube in your yard empty until they can place it at the next job. In my scenario it was well over 1 month. When they finally decided to pick it up the truck driver cut the lock off our gate and proceeded to pick it up. CRA Would have a payday with these guys because the drivers all claim to be independent contractors for the company which is false. They only work for CubeIt. There's currently an open trespassing investigation with the RCMP. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

Sold my contact info to ads

Customer phone service was excellent - gracious, patient, and efficient - but they sold my contact information to moving companies and I received multiple ad mailers from movers after reserving cube it. This is a deal and trust breaker for me.

Put in to get a quote for my distance…

Put in to get a quote for my distance move it allowed me to put in the addresses no issues, sent me to there sister company to use Movers which isnt what i wanted at all. Wish there site would tell you this when you are putting in information. Very disappointed and frustrated with this.

Always make sure to see where the…

Always make sure to see where the Service Areas are before you book your containers.
We were quoted $5.00/km outside of the city limits.
When calling to have the cube delivered we find out that the drivers will not drive out to our new location.
The star rating would be less if I could.
Beware when booking with this company, ask all the questions and make sure you know the Serviced Areas!!! When looking back in all the contracts, it was never stated in any contract either.

I called September 25 to have my pod…

I called September 25 to have my pod delivered the earliest they had for delivery was October 3 the sales rep told me there had to have a clearance of 60" to unload the POD the placement was 50" i explained i had an industrial garbage container unloaded 10 in the spot that i was looking to get it unloaded however there was another spot on the other side of my garage that had a 200" clearance the sales rep said it would arrive October 3 that his boss would look at the the placement and give me a call if there was a problem. No call no POD after waiting all day i decided to call at 330 only to be told it was never on the delivery truck and i know needed a street permit to receive my POD or i can get there movers to unload the DOD and move my belonging to my house. under stress i felt i had no option but to get movers to unload the POD in there yard and unload it to my house however there movers were double the price of other movers i called. While the movers were in the yard on 44th street Calgary there was no security or workers anywhere in the yard or office and the gates were open. and because of them taking so long i had another rental payment come out on the October 2 a day before the supposedly delivery of the POD so i am paid up to the end of October.

I would rate negative stars if I could

Do yourself a favour and NEVER book with this company, they are completely unreliable and beyond disorganized. I spent over an hour on the phone for the initial booking, going over in detail both locations where I needed the container delivered, including photos of each location and google streetview. The lady who took my booking confirmed that both locations were appropriate for their service and scheduled my container. On the day of delivery the driver refused to deliver the container despite it being within the parameters I was told was acceptable and that it would have to be delivered the next day with a different truck. I called the next morning to confirm with Cubeit that the re-delivery would happen, as I had movers scheduled to come load it the next day. Cubeit confirmed that dispatch would be there with the new truck to deliver the container. Of course the day goes on and no truck shows up, no one will answer my calls. The morning my movers are scheduled to arrive Cubeit informs me that the container will not be delivered and that I can load it in their yard instead. I was provided no discount or refund for the failure of them to provide the basic delivery service that I had paid for (at this point they had already charged me for the pick up when I hadn't even received the container). When I told them I wanted a refund because they didn’t provide any of the services I had agreed on at the booking I was told I would not receive any refund on the delivery costs, and that a "request" for the remaining $500 charged to my card was to be submitted. I would NEVER ever recommend this service to anyone with my experience, they created so much additional stress and costs to my move.

Better Experience the Second Time. The first part of our experience was…

The first part of our experience was very stress full, however they did eventually get caught up and did what they said they would.

Over all I was pleased and I would use them again, however I would also be more prepared for delays. Their client care team was easy to get a hold of and did a great job of communicating schedule updates, I was always up to date on what was happening.
