CT BIDS Delaware is a scam. I picked up my items and they were placed in bags with my name on them They had me sign a paper that I got everything before I started loading, When I got home, multiple items were not in the bags. Other franchises have someone on hand to help .I always offer a tip. The furniture obviously had to be taken apart to fit out the doors. Problems with mice was evident. I read shipping complaints but pick up is no picnic.

On top of the item itself. The shipping and handling is OUTRAGEOUS. They pick the most expensive shipping and over charge you on it. And the handling fee to “remove” the item is so stupidly expensive it’s not worth using

Always a great experience with CTBIDS Chesapeake VA. Todd & his staff go above & beyond. Very organized and orderly, has items ready when you arrive. Very helpful, the only auction company I know of that even helps to carry your items to your car! Very impressed and highly recommend!

I have been enjoying bidding on items on CTBids for over a year. Sometimes I win; sometimes I lose; sometimes the price is a bargain; sometimes I decide it’s good enough to keep bidding; sometimes it goes higher than I want to pay. It’s always fun and the process is easy. Lots of fun and interesting items for sale. It’s a win-win.

Complete scam!!! Do Not Bid on shipped items! I won two small crystal bowls. They wanted to charge 95.00 shipping from Texas to California. (I had a 7 lb box from Germany to California USA, delivered to me Priority (in 2 days) for less than 50.00). They add on 30 dollars Fee, 10.00 to just deliver it to UPS, and the shipping costs inflated and inflated packing costs.

Had a problem with one of their franchises not shipping items I've won. Ctbids themselves have brain dead support that didn't help at all and stopped responding and started playing dumb. Not only are a lot of the franchises garbage, ctbids themselves are garbage and should be shut down

When you purchase items you intend to ship they do not give you any indication of what shipping might cost but claim it will be fair. When you win the item they take your money for the item immediately. Then a few days later they tell you the shipping cost. You either pay that or forfeit the original cost of the item. They charged me TWENTY DOLLARS to ship 12 small coins!!!! (And it took me almost 2 weeks to get an invoice!!) They attempted to charge me nearly 200$ to ship a piece of artwork. When I refused the shipping they stole the 60$ And kept the art! The other item I shipped claimed to be a new item but arrived with food dried all over it! I'm FURIOUS! This website is an absolute SCAM! Avoid at all costs!!
