Absolutely avoid this place.

Absolutely avoid this place.

We had an extremely distressing experience with them when purchasing my wife’s wedding lehenga — the most important outfit of her life — and they completely ruined it.

We placed a fully customised order well in advance, and after chasing them countless times, just one week before the wedding they suddenly told us the lehenga had “arrived.” When we went to see it, it was nothing like what we had ordered. Completely different design, style, and finish. It became very clear that our actual outfit had never even arrived from the tailor, and they were trying to pass off a random piece from the shop as ours.

Despite explaining everything calmly, they were dismissive, rude, and extremely unprofessional. The way they spoke to us was unacceptable — they were abusive, showed zero accountability, and created unnecessary stress at an already emotional time. They even made my wife cry instead of trying to resolve the issue.

With the wedding so close, we had no choice but to accept something we never wanted.

This was not just poor service — it was dishonest, disrespectful, and completely ruined what should have been a special experience.

Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere reliable. No one deserves this kind of treatment, especially for something as important as their wedding.

If I could give zero stars

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. Do not buy from this shop under any circumstances.

We ordered a wedding lehenga and were promised delivery within 6–8 weeks (by early March). From the beginning, communication was extremely poor. The contact number provided is useless as no one ever answers, and visiting the shop in person only resulted in repeated false promises and empty reassurances.

The two sisters working there were consistently rude and unhelpful, and repeatedly gave misleading information about the status of our order. It felt like we were being told whatever would get us out of the shop rather than the truth.

Two days before the wedding, the lehenga still had not arrived. Instead of taking responsibility, they completely mishandled the order and spoke to us in a highly unprofessional and disrespectful manner, raising their voices and shifting the blame onto us.

This caused unnecessary stress during an already important and time-sensitive occasion. Based on our experience, this business was dishonest, unreliable, and completely unprofessional.

Avoid this place if you value your time, money, and peace of mind.

Please avoid this place at all costs!

Please avoid this place at all costs!! My sister-in-law had the worst experience with them. They completely ruined her blouse despite her being very clear she wanted a modest design. They kept delaying the outfit, then refused to fix anything when it arrived wrong.

They tried to say they’re now a “new company” called Elaan Couture (not even properly registered), claimed the male owner is in Dubai, refusing to give us any contact details, but it’s clearly the same people still running Krystal. You can literally see it on companies house that the sisters own it. Mewish and Beenish. Both rude as HELL may I add. They threatened us and other brides who arrived at the same time too. They made the bride cry her eyes out in front of them whilst taking zero accountability and cursing her.

On the wedding day they promised to send the blouse to the house by 12pm, delivered it late with short sleeves, the sleeves didn’t even match, then later denied they even sent it?? Literally said “what bride, what blouse” when we raised it. They refused any compensation, whilst making us pay in full before ordering. They even tried to make us pay extra!

We had no choice but to just keep it as it was on the day of the wedding unfortunately.

So stressful right before a wedding. Please save yourself the hassle and go somewhere reliable.

They also own Shalimar Shoes a couple doors down.

Please note good reviews are fake.

Please note the good reviews are fake.

They make you pay bank transfer or cash so that you have no fraud protection. I never received the goods so citizens advice told me I should take them to small claims court.
