Thrown out for NO reason, funds disappeared...

Some two years ago my card became unusable and the remaining funds vanished.....it's the card provider they said....
So logically from a very active and "positive towards them" customer I became totally inactive with their platform, "let's wait and see if I get my card balance back before I deposit anything else..." I thought.
In recent months some communication came-up with them requesting me to verify my already verified account..... But why should I verify my account if it's on hold for disappearence of funds ?
So a couple of days ago I received a termination notice by them, claiming my account needs to be closed for some artificial reason but with the same breath, they confirmed they have an "individual users sector" So I was thrown out here for NO reason and I'm supposed to believe their assurances that even without an operational account I will get my card balance back....

The funds associated with your old card were held by our former card provider, who lost their licence. This event was outside our control, and the return of these funds is handled through a separate process. Importantly, the closure of individual user accounts does not affect the eventual release of those card funds. When the refund process officially begins, all affected users will be notified directly with the next steps.

The decision to discontinue services for individual users is a business decision, not a reflection of any issue with your account personally. We get how unsettling these changes can feel, and we appreciate your patience throughout this long and complex situation.

STAY AWAY from this platform they blocked my account with my funds and I have sent them the necessary documents and they still haven’t unblocked my account for weeks now
I refused to let them go away with my money filed a complaint and got everything back within few days…………..Don’t be shy to seek help

I have an old account with 0.25 btc…

I have an old account with 0.25 btc that cryptopay, after I verified my ID, refused to verify my address and then blocked my account and told me I had lost my funds. In other words, they blocked it to steal my funds. Beware of this fraudulent company and scammers.

Cryptopay has been operating since 2013, which means we’ve been on the market for over 11 years. We’re known for our transparency and our responsible approach to security and compliance. Acting in bad faith (as you described) simply isn’t in our values or in our style.

In your case, we offered an option to verify your identity, but unfortunately, none of the attempts were successful. Because of this, and in order to protect the account owner and their funds, we cannot provide access to the account.

We never block account access or prevent users from retrieving their funds without reason. Security is our top priority, and we hope you understand.

The account was blocked twice within 15 minutes.

During the registration process, my account was blocked twice, with less than 15 minutes between the two blocks.
Your support claims this is “normal” and is now asking me to send sensitive documents by regular email.
I honestly feel like I’m being treated like an idiot — as if I would trust you with my money after this experience.

What happened is actually part of our security process. Since we’re a regulated company, we sometimes have to run extra checks to stay compliant, even if it feels a bit much. It’s not about doubting you, but making sure everything’s in order for a safer experience in the long run.

Been with Cryptopay for a couple of years, their customer support is amazing and normally respond within minutes. I've withdrawn funds to my bank account with no problems and usually within 24 hours it's in my account.

Transfer of funds of my late wife handled excellently

My late wife had an account with Cryptopay, to which I did not have access. Cryptopay was very helpful getting the balance of her account transferred to me.

During the whole process, which took several months (which was mostly due to delays on my side), I spoke with different persons about the case. Each one was familiar with the situation; I didn't have to explain anything more than once. They were also very patient about me getting all the required documents from my notary. Very professional and compassionate people.

I recommend Cryptopay as a safe and reliable platform for trading, exchanging, buying and selling cryptocurrencies, and also withdraw your to fiat currency converted cryptos to your regular bank accounts.
