Extremely bad experience buying from Crownwood watch

We ordered 2 watches form the Crown wood closing sale on Nov 25th for Christmas presents, after we paid for them by credit card, we received 2 emails from the store telling us they had trouble sorting parts, but reassured us it will be on time for Christmas. But the watches was not sent by their store until Dec 14 after hour, we didn’t get the watch until Dec 31, it’s too late for Christmas obviously! I communicated with the store, wanting to cancel the orders, because we have to get other things for Christmas now, the store didn’t reply until the watches was delivered and told me I have to mail them back the watch for refund and shipping cost is on me. Also said “ they can’t just refund me for the watches just because they were not shipped on time.” I will never buy anything from them again, I wish no one will purchase with them after reading my review.

I may have fallen for a scam according…

I may have fallen for a scam according to the other reviewer. I recieved the Crownwood "Rustic" watch for Christmas. As far as appearances go, it looks like the watch I wanted as advertised. This is the first watch I've had/worn in years, so I have no expertise on any matter of watches.

I like it so far, it was kinda difficult to set with no instructions, and the label card was in German, no Serial number, but there was a card to be stamped.

Also, there was continuous correspondence with the seller according to the person who gifted me, making sure the watch arrived on time.

I dont know, I like it. The price is ok, and my wrist hasn't gone rotten.

Fake Store - Chinese Crap

Definitely selling imported no-name Chinese watches. Watches matching ones they sell can be quickly and easily found on Aliexpress by searching "wooden watches". Pretends to be a longstanding Canadian company, but only registered its domain in November 2020, first ad was a "Going out of business" ad. All hallmarks of a scam designed to play on people's sympathies. Stay far far away.

By the way, if you look closely at their images you can tell the Crownwood logo is definitely photoshopped. These watches go by BOBO Bird elsewhere.
