If I could give 0 stars I would! Having used Crown Relocations in four previous international moves, the move from Australia to UK this time around in mid-2025 was the worst experience and our family will never trust or use them again. For the first time we used shared a container - never again! Damaged items -some items irreplaceable - which we eventually got reimbursed after a lengthy process. Missing boxes - yes still! and a decision made that there is nothing else they can do. On a final note, as you are not told this but if UK bound, once your possessions leave Australia, the company who looks after your shipment is based in Hong Kong and can only be contacted by email.

I was not happy to find that our goods…
I was not happy to find that our goods were in Christchurch about 2 days after leaving Levin, and we were notified 10 days later that we could collect our plants. When we asked why it had taken so long, we were told the container had been in your yard 2 days after leaving Levin, but not enough staff to unload the container. So this means our plants sat in the container for about 12 days with no light or water, and the container probably got hot in the sun. Now 2 of our plants have completely dried out, and the leaves have all gone brown. They were very green when they left Levin

Horrible experience
My aunt had a horrible experience with Crown. Nothing went to plan, from start to the end. Communication was difficult and they requested the same documents multiple times and then failed to forward them to the company overseas for custom clearance. On the delivery day, the goods did not show up and nobody contacted my aunt. I do not recommend this company at all!

The service overall was excellent
The service overall was excellent. I found the quote for shipping and insurance confusing to read and suggest that could be simplified and more clarity in the wording would enhance interpretation. It’s not obvious if insurance is included in the quote, and the levels of cover are ambiguously phrased to my mind.
The communication overall was very good, highly responsive and genuine from initial quote through the packing team and delivery team. The packing was exceptional-I receive direct comms from the team collecting and packing and found their expertise really reassuring. Crown shipped my family grandfather clock which is fragile and 180 years old and I cannot fault the way it was thoughtfully and securely wrapped and crated in a custom built case. The delivery service communication was faultless and the delivery team very professional, on time and could not have been more helpful. Thank you.
