Very reliable garage

My car wouldnt start last Tuesday , about 10.30 am, and I suspected it needed a new battery as I couldn't remember when I last purchased one. I phoned Cross Street Garage in Wroughton. Within 15 minutes, it was picked up from my house, they bought a battery for it, and early afternoon saw it back in my garage, raring to go. The price was so reasonable.

I took my Mazda 3 to Thames Avenue…

I took my Mazda 3 to Thames Avenue garage for them to investigate an electrical problem re Air Bag alarm light showing on Dash, and was relieved and very pleased when I later collected it when I was informed the problem was found to have been caused by an old contact which the engineer rectified and that the problem had been resolved with no fuss and to my complete satisfaction. Thanks to all concerned including the friendly receptionist.

Avoid

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!

• Quoted serval hundreds pounds more for parts!
• They mistakenly replaced track rod end, which shows a lack of attention, they never charged me for this however they subsequently split my CV boot and caused greased to go everywhere. I had to pay for a new cv boot and brake pads which cost £200+
• Pinch bolts fitted the wrong way round
• Tracking was supposed to be completed but can now see visible wearing on front left tyre
•Emailed the garage and raised a complaint but no acknowledgment or response which shows a clear lack of support or customer service.

Use this garage if you want your vehicle damaged rather than repaired.

Quotations for repairing Nissan Navara…and Volvo truck

Quotations for repairing Nissan Navara was several thousand and had vehicle repaired elsewhere for a fraction of the cost

Charged very high storage charges without notification of daily charge or amount and refused release of vehicle unless paid in full. Underhand sharp practice would not recommend and only deal with them if you have full written quotes for repairs...avoid

Awful rip off garage, avoid!

I had the misfortune to be towed to this garage after my car broke down on M4 as this is a RAC approved garage. The breakdown, as it became clear later, was associated with contaminated fuel that had burned all of my injectors. The garage charged me £387.56 for a so called “leak off” test and change of fuel filter. I personally don’t believe they have done any diagnostic tests on my car whatsoever. For a non-genuine fuel filter they charged £99, which is way above market value, and when they made an estimate for replacing an injector I decided to move the car away from them, which turned out to be a very wise decision. They quoted £450 including VAT for Mercedes injector, and £746.62 for non-genuine fuel injector! My trusted Mercedes specialist garage charged me £260 including VAT for genuine Mercedes injector. I personally think it is awful that RAC and AA are using this garage. As it is not bad enough to get broken down on a motorway, RAC will then tow you here where you will be ripped off with zero empathy by those opportunists!
