Great company... very helpful and fantastic insights from the project
Had a fantastic experience with Critical Future. Strategic consulting project, really impressed with the depth of research and efforts the team went to. Highly recommended
Enjoyed working with Critical Future, responsive to our initial contact and took the time to understand our brief. The scoping work has been useful in shaping our AI strategy in a fast evolving market. Without them we would not have moved forward on some of the decisions we’ve now made.
Brilliant AI engineers, very happy with the work met all the deadlines, great team
Our experience was shockingly poor
1. Lack of Evidence-Based Recommendations
The tool selection recommendations were not supported by adequate research, analysis, or ROI justification. Additionally, the report did not provide any new insights beyond what we already knew. In some cases, the suggested tools contradicted our stated requirements.
2. Overstated Estimates
Several estimates weresignificantly inflated. For example, our current HR recruitment agency fees are overstated by a fact of 3.5x. The data points used in the calculations were inaccurate or misapplied.
3. Misaligned Focus on Agentic AI
The report places undue emphasis on Agentic AI without first understanding our requirements, value drivers, ecosystem, and technology maturity. Prescribing solutions in this manner promotes a technology-led approach rather than a problem- and ecosystem-led one, which risks increasing overheads over time.
4. Report Structure and Delivery
The report provided was excessively long, lacks clear structure, and scatters information throughout the document. Furthermore, there was no follow-up meeting to present final recommendations.
Overall, it was a 'boiler plate' exercise with a cookie cutter approach. No real evidence backed solutions.
The claim the critical future that they applied process is false. Interviews with the team lasted 30min or thereabouts. There was no follow up to queries and corrections that the team submitted back to them. The work is not of value to our business because it did not use the information provided. It was a default set of PowerPoints - so called solutions that were not of value to our business.

I learnt a great deal working on disparate consultancy projects for over a year now. the work is varied and oftentimes challenging - great exposure. I'm grateful to our managing director to have helped me regain financial stability and am incentivized by our performance-based pay structure. I'm glad to be here.
- Very flexible work environment
- Trust and initiatives by the management
- Constant position upgrades

One of the best companies I worked at!
My manager is super understanding and provides me with all tools to work with. Very supportive and appreciates everything I do. The first place to very fast raises without asking. Truly a safe haven
We used Critical Future to produce a market report. Very comprehensive, strong intelligence on competitors. Fine piece of work.
We had accumulated loads of data over a number of years. Critical Future gave us a PhD Expert who come on board in a few days analysed our data and turned it into simple insights. Valuable experience
Critical Future provided us with a Data Analytics consultant and he was able to provide remarkable insights about our customers. Really interesting and useful consulting. It was a Ph.D. in statistics, very pleased with the outcome!
