We were initially hesitated whether we should choose crimson or not but after our daughter working with Crimson team, especially strategist and counselor team, we believe we made the right choice. It save us a tremendous amount of time watching over our daughter academic progress. We just leave the work to the experts for their step-by-step guidance. Also, the beauty is that after every session there is comphensive summary so we know exactly the progress and we can provide reinforce if need with our daughter. The consultants are highly professional, and the assistant teacher, Elisa, is dedicated to helping student and parents. The process of applying to schools is tough, but having Crimson’s assistant is truly wonderful!

Tried three separate times to connect for initial consultations. David Linton set up a conference and then "forgot" about it. Tried again to connect at a later date, he took the call from his car and didn't follow up. I never received any communication past that. After reaching out several times to other people in management and being completely ignored, I took the hint. If you are not a sure bet at a good school or if you are at a highly competitive high school, they don't want you. I feel I dodged a bullet here. Have a great counselor for my son now and couldn't be happier. Parents, reach other to other parents and read all of the reviews before you make any choice for your student.

Working with Crimson Education has been one of the most transformative parts of my high school journey. As a student in the French system aiming for U.S. universities, I knew the application process would be overwhelming — from essays to extracurriculars, all while balancing school. Crimson gave me the structure, accountability, and expertise I needed to turn what felt impossible into something manageable.

What helped me the most — and what I believe is Crimson’s greatest strength — is their guidance. If you put your mind to something, you can achieve it, but having the confidence and direction to do so makes all the difference. Crimson encouraged me to find the thread of my story, explore my interests, and share them meaningfully. I wasn’t only focused on applications but also on enjoying the activities I committed to and finding purpose in them.

My strategist and essay mentor guided me through an intense but rewarding introspection process. They helped me shape my story, refine my “hook,” and connect my values to my projects. The brainstorming exercises were eye-opening, and the feedback always thoughtful, detailed, and constructive. I also appreciated the flexibility: sometimes we met live on Zoom, and sometimes we worked asynchronously, which saved precious time during exams.

Like any long journey, there were adjustments along the way. For example, I worked with several strategists before finding the right fit, and I think earlier continuity could have made the start smoother. Still, those transitions ultimately helped me clarify what I needed.

By application season, I felt both prepared and supported. Crimson not only helped me build a strong application that led to an Ivy League acceptance, but also gave me clarity about who I am and where I want to go.

The advice from Crimson is really practical and useful: our counsellor provided multiple specific suggestions/links for competitions, research opportunities and activities to enhance my daughter's application throughout her junior year. The team was incredibly good at keeping everything on track: by the end of her junior summer, my daughter had her essay and Common App application in near final form, and they took the work of getting that done away from us as parents which was amazing.
