I had the same issue as everyone else here. Took 17p from my account to “verify” my identity. The next day they attempted to take £33.23 for a subscription which I never knowingly signed up for. I am already poor, disabled and on benefits so they really are preying on those in need.

Reported to action fraud with reference NFRC240106441855. Utter scum and scammers so please avoide like the plague!

This company is a major scam they take around 2pence from you account then take £29 out at the month without you signing a subscription Fraud

Wish there was an option to not leave any stars, how dare they take 35 quid from my account without authorisation. Nowhere did it state I was signing up to anything, they needs stopping and I will be reporting this as it is fraud

Why have you taken 29.94 out of my bank account when I didn’t sign up for this you suppose to tick the agreed box if you want this service I want my money back

I applied for a loan did not get accepted so didnt receive it yet at 2am this morning you try and take £30 out my bank

It cannot be a coincidence that so many people have been scammed by this company! Get in touch for a refund and also tell your bank but I’d urge everyone to contact the FCA and report them. The name of the company is Serpable, LTD and their FCA number is 799104. Although they go by Credit Cupid.

The FCA ombudsman normally will not consider complaints that have been solved but so many people being scammed has to be brought to their attention, surely. Then again this company is authorised to do this so who knows, but they definitely need shutting down.

Like others, they “try to verify my account” do not deliver anything yet keep taking money. I don’t even have any communication from them, not even a log in or email confirmation, all I had was money leaving my account for false advertising.

This company is a scammer, as all the people before me have written, they take money for the sum of £36 round figures, without u even knowing about to. I have. Notified my bank and action fraud. I urge anyone to do the same and I’ve asked my bank to freeze my card and reissue a new one and requested new bank account number to ensure against any future payments trying to be made .

They've taken £35 out of my account without my prior knowledge. I will be taking this up with the relevant bodies.
