Fraud

Never heard of Credibble until direct debits turned up on my bank statement. Judging by the reviews this is not an isolated incident, so they clearly have an issue. For fixing the problem they are asking for more personal info. Bank has credited the direct debits but no explanation as to how it was set up. Beware.

Dear TE,
Please accept our sincerest apologies for the unauthorised direct debit set up on your bank account. Credibble is an online credit checking service that helps users improve their credit to make borrowing easy. We are fully authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and work with some of the UK’s leading credit agencies.

If you have found a direct debit set up on your bank account, it is likely to fall into one of two scenarios.

In most cases, a genuine customer has mistyped their bank account or sort code, leading to a direct debit set up in your name. This is quite common, as most banks do not perform name checks when setting up payments. Fortunately, banks provide a Direct Debit Guarantee Scheme, where they will immediately refund your money when this occurs.

A second and rare scenario is that a fraudster has obtained your bank details and has attempted to set up a direct debit on our website by impersonating you. Like any other website, if the correct account details are presented for payment, your bank will set up the direct debit.

PLEASE NOTE: We would strongly urge you to contact us at help@credibble.com with your name and direct debit reference number. This will allow us to properly investigate this issue and help you better protect your bank account and identity.

Once again, we are incredibly sorry for any trouble this has caused you.

Received a £7.95 debit from this company I’ve never heard from. Looking through the reviews it seems it’s quite common. Have cancelled the mandate and will be contacting My bank for a refund, as well as launching a complaint against the company as they clearly have no idea how to process payments

Direct Debit fraud

There seems to be a few of these issues where this company has set up incorrect direct debits on people’s accounts - I have just had to cancel one. Not sure if this is a case of this company not performing necessary due diligence but some action by them clearly needs to be taken before their reputation is damaged any more.

An 'increbibbly' useful service!

I recently had cause to contact Nadeem Amin, the CEO of Credibble to assist a member of my family who needed financial help way beyond my capabilities. Nadeem, very efficiently guided my family member through the jungle that is today's financial marketplace. Using simple, easy to understand language, he was able to help us navigate our way through the facilities provided on his site and to learn exactly what needed to happen in order to restore a survivable financial situation. The actions needed in different areas, mortgage, credit cards, unsecured loans etc, were very clearly indicated and explained in a simple, easy to understand way - even for those of us who are financially challenged. Having the creator of the website to guide us was no doubt a bonus but even without that added extra, we would have found our way to the advice and guidance needed.

I wrote to Credibble with regards to a distressing fraud related situation. They gave me some very useful advice, which was also very thorough in the steps I need to take. It's a very disconcerting situation and a daunting process when you don't know what you're supposed to do, but Credibble made it seem much simpler. Thank you.

Unaccurate and Poor Information

Having gained access to this with a very poor onboarding process, the information is wrong on a number of levels. I supposedly have no mortgage, no credit card, no bank account or any account whatsoever. I login to my Experian account and Credit Karma accounts and everything is showing, with an excellent score, but for some reason nothing has pulled through on Creddible. If there was some form of explanation as to why on the homepage, i.e it couldn't verify me I would fully understand, but there is nothing.

Hi James,
We’re incredibly sorry you've had a bad experience.
Our latest onboarding journey is undergoing tests and it should lead to a better experience for new users. With regards to your data, we obtain your credit file from Equifax (a credit referencing agency). As I hope you can appreciate, we have no control over the information they hold about you. However, we can raise a dispute with Equifax to resolve any inaccuracies. We are happy to do this; you just need to drop us an e-mail at hello@credibble.com from the address you used to sign up.
We value all the feedback we receive, as it helps us improve the experience for our users. So, thank you for taking the time to post your comments, and we hope it doesn’t stop you from enjoying our service in the future. --The Credibble Team.

this is an website that show you on how to improve my score, it shows you thing that other website don't show you that impact my score for example I have a good card rating but my ratio that was spend to wages per month was way to high, even though I was clearing it, it looked bad.

I have been with Experian for a while and on a friends recommendation i took a look at Credibble. I was amazed, the information on Credibble was so detailed and in depth. They seem to offer more services and advice than Experian do? In my humble opinion Credibble knock Experian in to a cocked hat.
