Cautionary tale, not as plug and play

Installed the CFS utilizing the installation video which was extremely easy to follow. (Missing steps to remove plastic wrap from CFS filter that are factory installed). Once installed I attempted to print a benchy model as a first test run.........Unfortunately 1 1/2 days later I have yet to successfully complete a bench print. Constant error stating issue with filament and to clear the CFS unit. Compared tithe first few days with the K1C printer itself this has been a complete opposite experience and frustrating at the least.

Bad Support

So, I messaged after sales about an issue with my 3D printer. Took them 48 hrs to respond. It's now going on another 48 hrs for them to get back to my response. Sent them everything they asked [invoice, SN, logs] and even a video of the problem. For a printer only being 3 months old and only a total of 6 days of printing for it to fail it's a disgrace.

Spending $600+ on a printer only to be ghosted by after sales is disgusting. Stand by your product, if you aren't going to provide support for a broken printer at least refund my money or provided a like new printer.

Update: So, after a 60 days of going back and forth with Support and then sending me parts to "replace/test" to see if my problem would be fixed, it didn't after installing those parts, my bed mesh became severely warped.

I asked them in a follow up email about a replacement since the parts didn't work, a bang was noticed when self checking.

They stated they would send a replacement unit and had me fill out the required shipping information. Then 24 hrs later, came back and said "No".

How can one detected problems with a printer with 3 months of ownership and 6 days of actual print time?

I've owned two different 3d printers and those companies admitted to a manufacturing defective and honored the warranty. Creality doesn't.

NO REFUND

I ordered a printer 2 weeks ago and canceled the order before it even processed. I still have yet to receive my refund and it’s been atleast 2 weeks.

Customer service is just as rubbish as…

Customer service is just as rubbish as their printer! My husband bought me the Ender 3 for Christmas I’ve had nothing but issue after issue with it and creality are refusing to take it back. They’ve given me the run around for weeks asking for videos constantly when I’ve already sent videos. Told me it needed calibrated when I already has been. They are awful!!!!

VAT Refunds are... Complicated.

It took me 6 weeks to get the VAT Refunds, and legal threats.

It mainly comes down to Creality Support not understanding how VAT refunds work and what's needed. To save you some trouble:
If you are VAT Exempt - Once the items arrive, get the Import/Export papers from the Shipping company (You'll have to request them yourself, make sure proper company name is on it) and give it to their support along with proof of your VAT Exemption (Usually Company Registry).

All items on the order must have shipped as well, so better hope things are in stock.

A better potential option is talking to CSR directly to get a proper invoice without VAT when buying.

Initially a 1 star review, but they sorted it out - it wasn't ill doing, just poor communication.

Good machine. Just an issue getting it up and running.

The purchasing was easy. Shipping delivery was quick. Packaging was great. I have and use a 3D printer that is several years old and it has worked okay. Some tinkering to get good prints. I wanted newer technology. That being said, the display didn't come on after following assembly instructions. After checking I found the cable partially pulled out of the board behind the side panel. That cable was very taut. I adjusted it a bit and connected to the board again. Everything worked fine after the cable was re-attached. Just disappointed in having to perform a repair on a new machine. Machine was a good value in my estimation.

Solid customer support and products.

Ive ordered creality in the past and had no issue. I spent significantly more money this time and had a small issue. Wasnt anything horrible. Just with shipping times ect due to holidays. The creality team got back with my complaint email so quick. They also was nothing but kind and informative. I apologized and went forward with my order. All my products have been flawless. I will continue to support the business as long as im getting good customer support. Its nice dealing with people who care about their customers.

AWESOME first impression.

So far out of box has been a wonderful experience, easy setup and almost right away usage! Most all prints have been set and forget it. Its been so much fun and great cause kf my long work days i can still be productive. After about of week of use though I did come across a belt tension issue that took a min to resove. The QR code took me to a Mandrian WIKI guide to resolve, so it took a moment to translate as its not my native language. I do think having pre-installed tools like the belt tension tool stl already in the machine like the tug boat would be helpful.

Very Impressive!

very responsive! we had the equipment in les than 3 business days. We had it set up and printing the day it showed up! the prints so far have all been very clean. Very happy and looking forward purchasing more machines for our business.

Great printer

Little prep to be ready to start printing. Printer printed quick quality print right out of the box. CFS system works great and the Creality cloud is easy to pick up and use. Over all excellent experience.

They take forever to reply and just keep telling me to follow the same troubleshooting steps. I've already explained multiple times that I've completed every step and nothing fixes it. Waste of time

Support responses are very slow, and despite me clearly stating multiple times that I've already performed all the recommended troubleshooting steps (including firmware downgrade, new heat bed replacement, voltage checks, etc.), I keep receiving the same generic instructions. This back-and-forth is wasting a lot of time and hasn't moved the issue forward at all.

Creality has excellent shipping speed

Creality has excellent shipping speed, most orders are shipped within two days, at least that has been my experience with this company. If you try to reach them via telephone, I have never been able to for that I give Creality zero stars, but the shipping is the best, and the product is very good, again the phone, not so much

Printer is missing a part

Printer is missing a part. Customer service is hard to contact (hours on hold or day waiting for a response to emails) and when you do manage to get to speak to someone they send the wrong part. We have a pile of expensive plastic that we can’t assemble and a very upset 14 years old whose birthday gift it was 3 weeks ago!

Never received anything and still…

Never received anything and still charged. Then charged again when trying to get it fixed with support. I dont even know if the printer is still coming or i got scammed its been weeks with no update. The filament should have arrived by now i ordered over 100 dollars worth. Buy from a different company aave yourself the head ache
