While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. Craigslist has no control over double and triple daily posts for same products!!

Craigslist provides a great service. Unfortunately some regular sellers take advantage of it and continually double, triple, or quadrupple post and there seems to be no moderator to penalize the culprits. Anyone who does this over and over should be prohibited from posting. The effect of this behavior is that individuals who post have their postings move many pages back in just a day or two and it makes Craigslist more trouble than it is worth both for searching for products and for individual sales. One can look at MA cape and Islands and search under "Dennis" (a town). I just flagged probably 50 posts and week after week it is mostly the same items. Craigslist needs to get a handle on this. I may be wrong, but I believe that if a seller lists an item 4 times, each different post needs to be flagged multiple times before they are removed. Instead, they only remove it from the flagger's page while still leaving them all visable for all other viewers. This destroys the site for reasonable sellers. I WILL NOT USE CRAIGSLIST ANY MORE. I AM DONE FLAGGING TOO.

DISCREET RACISM UNDERTONES

I posted clothing on Craiglist. All the"WESTERN"ITEMS,M & S Coat,HP Laptop,Canterbury rugby shirt, were accepted. When I listed Asian Wedding Dress,Arabic Thobes, Asian Lady Dresses they were all removed without any explanation.
I will now let many of my friends, and family know about these people.I am very glad that there are many more tolerant, equality minded platforms available to replace Craiglist.

Clean up your yard Craiglist

An honest down to earth post offering cleaning services to the home at £10.00 fixed hourly rate flagged and removed, whereas the person advertising under the same heading who is offering the same services to the home from £50.00 hourly rate, unclothed mind you, is still up and running, even when they proceed to inform us that 'other' services are available to suit ones needs, and to contact them for a breakdown of charges for these bespoke services mentioned.

Even at a push, at least this person posted in Services Offered, but for the life of me, I cannot understand why these posts blatantly selling sex are now in every column, especially now your personal columns have been axed.

Wake up Craig List, clean up your act, and learn by your mistakes.

You have already deprived millions of genuine users of a popular global platform, where people could meet, when you were forced to drop the personals section after failing to recognise to what extent the sex industry had hijacked your personal section, and as CL is still up and running, do you not feel you may have the same problem, as I certainly do?

In every section, there are posts blatantly selling sex, and I want to know why you are still allowing them to be published, not excuses. The screening process regarding content you have in place is obviously not what it should be, and an organisation such as yours cannot afford to ignore this loophole.

I find your organisations work ethos unacceptable and irresponsible, so if you are not prepared to clean up your site, why not simply close it down, as I don't want to be confronted with this type of material every time I log in.
