I haven't been able to log on all month?!? I have been auditioning there for 1.5 years w/out being paid for any of my auditions as they say?!? I think any positive review for them is not legit

The website was fine
The website was fine, the client was good, and the experience overall was fine. The only issue is that Covoco depresses the VoiceOver market with severely low fees and discourages voice actors from using the site.

As a Voice Talent
As a Voice Talent - I can tell you there are some issues with the system. It has come a long way since I first visited the site, but it feels like it's a site in BETA release and not fully ready for public access.
The first issue was that my account would not allow me to audition. A field in my account was not visible - I tried multiple browsers and computers. I reached out to support, however, I then ran into another issue... the published support email address bounced back as invalid/not found or went unanswered (after notifying them several times, this hadn't been resolved and I do not know if it ever was). I was able to locate an email address after searching my emails to find that an actual person had sent me a 'welcome' email when I first set up the account. They were able to forward my message and get my issue resolved very quickly. The next issue I had was logging in with a Google account. This led to me constantly being logged out when switching between my profile, auditions notifications, uploading auditions, etc. I switched my account to a log in by email and password and this issue was resolved.
Payments can also take longer than the site claims (more on tracking that later). My first payment did not go through on schedule and I had to contact support. They had payment to me about 72 hours later (though it was for a few dollars less than quoted).
Clients can take quite a long time to wrap up a project. One of my longest took about 7 months to finalize. My recommendation is to be very patient if you plan to use the site. Use it to augment a marketing plan - and get some work here and there that might pay a little less , but also didn't take you any time to market.
For my 'wishlist' - I would like to be able to set a filter to only view projects over a certain dollar amount and sort by the length of the final script. There should be much more transparency in the estimated final script length (to estimate $ to word or $ to minute ratios) and when the project will close, not just the audition timeline and audition scipt.
Also - and this is for any voice talent using any site - any time you are sending your voice out, it is very important to keep a spreadsheet with the details of each audition (the site auditioned at, client name, payment amount, any dates, details, websites, etc. mentioned in the process or script) and be diligent about checking for unauthorized use and verify prompt payments. Covoco could make this much easier by showing auditions submitted, percentage won and other tracking metrics that skilled & experienced voice talent demand.
Something that lacks transparency - I believe the site is run by the same person that owns/runs Advids and this is simply the casting for the videos - so it's interesting that Advids posted a review. See linkedin.com /in/bhatalok and agency.covoco. com/why-advids/
[EDIT] I was finally paid for my next gig and it was again for less than the posted payment. Turns out, 'free' (their website makes multiple claims that it is free for voice talent to use) isn't free. Their terms and conditions points to a non-working page that 'explains' the payment terms. Basically they take a 10% cut off what they pay voice talent. They also charge the video client a fee for finding voice talent. So, take 'free' with a large grain of salt. Keep in mind most of the jobs pay well under standard payment amounts. For a good baseline, check out the Global Voice Acting Academy rate guide (I have no affiliation). After the payment issue, I'm changing my review to two stars.[/EDIT]
Going really well!
Getting a lot of great jobs through Covoco! And the majority of the agencies have been great to work with. They are quick to respond to me when I have a concern.
The only negative I see is that the pay is considerably lower than standard industry rates. And there doesn't seem to be any way to negotiate. I am sometimes asked to do 5 or 6 script revisions, none of which are my fault - just the customer asking for changes. Other job platforms would stipulate I would get paid for my time for script changes. I have one project that has been in limbo for almost 7 months. And I'll probably only get around $40 for it! (Using Paypal once per month is also a bit annoying - they take out a fee on top of the fee Covoco takes.) All that being said, I'm very happy I keep using Covoco. I get a lot of interesting jobs and they are always a pleasure to deal with. Hopefully the minor kinks in the system get worked out over time!
Looks are decieving
The people are nice, but unfortunately only in it for themselves, because the talent are paid on the cheap and have to wait months for their measly pay after doing all the work.
A few things need to improve to be better
I like working with covoco but sometimes the customer service and response time to emails on various issues takes a long time. Plus I was suppose to be paid in the middle of the summer for a job I did in the early summer but only received payment a few weeks ago in October.
Customer took over 6 months to complete…
Customer took over 6 months to complete project and I waited 4-6 months to get paid. There is no place to see my earnings and deductions for admin fees, and customer was able to reduce my pay by $100 because they made a mistake. It is very difficult to track a project and the status of it. The customer overlapped versions of the same project, which is why he made the mistake. Extremely clunky. I have not submitted additional auditions because I am reluctant to do work have to wait months to get paid with no one to tell.

THIS SITE IS A SCAM!
Never use Covoco. Absolutely terrible.
Avoid this site. They have terrible costumer service, their site is buggy. Agencies often steal your work. I had to constantly email support for issues. I had to insist on getting paid over and over again. Eventually I was paid the incorrect amount with a substantial fee for unknown reasons. One simple project that I expected would take a week at most took several months of frustrating emails and I was not paid the agreed amount.
Scam
Don't sign up as a VO artist, you won't be paid and your voice will be redistributed to 3rd party clients against your knowledge.
There is no way to delete your account either and customer service does nothing to help. 100% scam. Any positive reviews likely come from within the company.
I dont know for the clients
I dont know for the clients, but for the artists its a fake company, there is no one to respond to your emails, all of them are incorrect address. They will make you do auditions and no response, if you try to contact hem through any of the email address , all of them are wrong.
