I am doing an MBA on Coursera and their customer service is ridiculous. Every issue I have is just being dodged like bullets in the Matrix. I haven't received one single response, but they sure send t... See more

What I thought was a $69 course turned…
What I thought was a $69 course turned into $300 with their non-transparent auto pay subscription. My fault for not keeping an eye on this but would have appreciated a reminder. I have cancelled the subscription and won’t use Coursera ever again. I won’t even try for a refund based on all the frustration indicated in the other reviews .
Courses are not useful
Courses are not useful
They have hidden renew agreement that charge you double the amount next year!!
They send tens of emails but none about your bill or receipt to keep charging you
No phone or human interaction for customers only
Not worth it at all
The place where "FREE" equals to "FEE"
I would rate it at 0 stars but there's no such option...
You visit the page of a course, it says "Enroll for free", you go through the registration, and "FREE" becomes "FEE" of $58.
Horrible website and customer service
Horrible website and customer service. I purchased a course from Duke University that took me to Coursera. Little did I know that the course was "audit access". This means that even though I paid, they are now saying I have to pay again to continue learning. The customer service takes forever to respond. One of them said I would get a refund. I don't want a refund. I just want my course to remain as is. Nothing has changed since this person said this. I wish I didn't have to take this course with them.

These guys are bunch of thieves never use their services and don’t make the mistake of falling into the trap of free trial as they never send emails
Of billing and you wouldn’t even be aware that money is taken out of your account
Coursesa offered tricks consumers by offering free trials and b then claiming it wasn’t cancelled!
Coursesa offered a free trial that I accepted. Within 24 hours I found the education opportunities were not adequate for my needs. I went through the cancellation process and then they charge me anyway. They claim I did not cancel, although I know that I did. They said since I could prove it that I was just out there money. When canceling they failed to tell you that you better make sure you have proof, because they will charge you. It seems to be a very common practice for them. It is apparently an easy extra income stream.
This is the email response I got from them.
Must be nice to be able to take a customers money and then just shut the door.
We need to start a class action against companies that engage in these deceptive business practices!

The worst experience
The worst experience. Courses were that great so I barely used it. Auto renewed for double the price and I cant get a refund nor talk to an actual person. Stay away. I use Udemy and PMI instead now.
Coursera uses auto-renewal after free…
Coursera uses auto-renewal after free trials and offers no reasonable refund, even when the charge is unintentional and the content is completely unused.
I cancelled immediately after noticing the payment, explained the situation clearly, and asked for a goodwill refund. The request was refused repeatedly, with no escalation offered, and the case was closed abruptly.
Policies are applied rigidly with no customer consideration. This experience felt unfair, dismissive, and not customer-focused. Be very careful with free trials and auto-payments.
Do not use them//no refunds
Do not use them. No uk contact details only chat bots and email comms. They processed a payment of £314 which after being cancelled told me they couldnt identify the payment and couldn provide a refund. This is even after providing evidence of it coming out of my bank account. You have been warned and there are better traininig providers now
Stay away from this site
Stay away from this site, even if you cancel within the trial period, you will get charged on your credit card and customer service has a very bad attitude.

I have been trying to cancel a subscription to a professional certificate for 4 months and yet I’m still being charged….
Inexistent support, I have followed every guide on their site leading me nowhere.
I have email chains with their team confirming they’ve processed the cancellation yet I still am being charged. The subscription itself shows as inactive with no cancellation option!
Every time I ask the AI bot to put me in front of a real support person, no one ever gets back to me.
I have had to raise an official scam dispute with my bank. Avoid at all costs, I am out of pocket every month for a a course I have never even started.
What's a refund?
I would give 0 stars if I could. I signed up for a free trial, didn't use the service, and was charged tonight. I immediately cancelled and chatted in for a refund. I was told so many different things but no refund. I'm supposedly going to hear from a supervisor via email but I won't hold my breath. I won't settle and lose this money though. Very poor experience.
They are a typical scam company
They are a typical scam company. Horrible service living off of non obvious subscription model with no email warning or receipt and refusing to refund even when you ask after 1 minute of being charged.
Horrible. Unethical. Bad.
Very difficult to get in contact with…
Very difficult to get in contact with customer service. I tried to cancel the day they charged me 400 dollars for the year. I chatted with people and when I didn’t hear back I tried twice more. Then when they responded they only talked about the later dates and kept ignoring the fact that I responded within the timeframe they require for refund. There is no phone numbers and no chat available.
REFUND POLICY SCAM
I only gave a star because thats the minimum. I would give negative stars if that were an option. Do not use this company unless you are ABSOLUTELY sure you want to spend the money for the subscription. The "refund policy" is a joke. If you try to invoke your entitled refund within their 14 day window they will try to redirect you to support articles and contact forms in a loop you're never meant to escape from until you presumably just give up. If you do decide to contact them via the contact form a bot will respond to you and possibly not even in your native language. It will decide from one email to the next which language it feels like speaking. If you ask for a human it says it forwards you to support but then you'll never hear from them. I have filed a dispute with my bank. Buyer be warned.
Coursera really sucks
I've used Coursera for a while, and the more I use it, the more I realize it really sucks.
Scammers with non existent customer service - AVOID
the free trial is a scam, almost impossible to cancell and then you get charged with no way if getting your money back. the customer service is non existent and once you speak to a real agent he will act rude and just kick you off the chat. DO NOT BOTHER WITH COURSERA
Coursera doesn’t offer refunds!
I signed up for a 7 day trial. I didn’t really want any course or get any certification due to lack of time. After the trial period I forgot to cancel my subscription and got charged. Then I contacted customer support and they told me in a bold manner they don’t offer refunds in such cases. I never had this problem before with any other service. It’s such a bad experience.
Scanners
Scanners. Subscribing doesn’t give access to anything as most courses are on individual plans.
If you ask for a refund in the 14 day window they will not process it an after that will say it’s out of the window for refund
