Serious concerns about this course and its claims
I regret purchasing this course. What I actually found was very different from the professional training program presented on the sales page.
The program is marketed as “Professional Training” to become a “Grief Support Coach” and even “a practitioner.” It tells students they can work with real people, get their first paying clients and potentially charge $60–$150 per session. However, I could find no independent U.S. accrediting or professional body recognizing this specific certification. Their own disclaimer states that the certification confirms course completion and does not constitute a professional or medical license.
The instructor, “Marianne Vogel,” is presented as “Verified,” with 14 years of professional practice and 3,000+ sessions. I tried to independently verify this background and could not find credible evidence supporting these claims.
The course itself was another major disappointment. The material I accessed appeared heavily or entirely AI-generated, with no substantive instructor-led video training. That is very different from what I personally expect when something is marketed as professional training for working with grieving and vulnerable people.
They also advertise the H.O.L.D.S. Method™ as an exclusive “proprietary framework.” But who recognizes or validates this method? What professional organization approves it? I could not find any independent validation or recognition.
The biggest red flag for me is the reviews.
The checkout displays the Trustpilot logo alongside “4.8/5 — 2,350+ reviews.” The same checkout also claims “4.9/5 (12,000+ reviews)” and “VERIFIED STUDENTS,” while the sales page says 1,253 verified reviews.
Where are the 2,350+ Trustpilot reviews? Where do the 12,000+ reviews come from? Who verified these students and reviews?
These are not minor details. When you sell training that encourages people to charge money for supporting individuals through grief, transparency about accreditation, instructors, course authorship, methodology and reviews should be fundamental.
Based on what I received and what I could independently verify, I cannot recommend this course.
Too many claims, too little verifiable evidence.
