Ordered at start of May 2025. No word of the table, if it was delayed, just no table appeared until I chased it in June, the July, then three times in August. Still no table. Eventually early September dug into online reviews and panicked that this might be a rogue company, as so many unhappy customers. So demanded a refund. After three emails I was told refund was made 8th September. That was one month ago today and still no sign of any money being returned to my account. Can't get hold of them again. Not sure if I'll ever see my £443.

Ordered and paid in August for three week delivery. Whilst we understand delays occur, there has been no communication, they don't reply to emails and they don't answer the phone. Is it a scam, will goods arrive eventually? We have now put it in the hands of credit card company.

Just received our Marbrook table and 6 Grisedale chairs, which were ordered and paid for in mid April.
Lack of communication is a major issue with this company.
Had I not chased this order, we would still be waiting, and none the wiser as to the cause of the delay.
The threat of cancellation with a full refund seemed to resolve the problem however, and a delivery date was quickly arranged!
We thought a goodwill gesture to make up for all the inconvenience would be appropriate, but sadly nothing was given.
I would avoid this company at all costs.
Having said this,the quality of the garden furniture and the price was good.
However, I would not recommend Cotswold Teak to anyone who wants, or indeed expects, a stress free experience!

Contacted the company via email re an enquiry about items listed on their website as 'coming soon'. No reply. No activity on social media accounts since late 2024. Have noted similar recent reviews citing a lack of contact. Is Cotswold Teak still trading?

I ordered some wooden chairs from Cotswold Teak on 26th April, and received a confirmation email that they would be delivered within 2 weeks but no date given. The time came and went with no further updates so I emailed. No response, tried again. Got a reply on 12th May stating they were having delays. No time for delivery given. I have just chased again. Will give it a few days and then try to get a refund as this is awful.

Response to Jacques - see feb 18th 2025 trustpilot review - contact your credit card company and get a refund quickly, dont waste any more time incase Cotswold Teak goes bust suddenly as you the will struggle to get your money back. MY RECENT EXPERIENCES OF COTSWOLD TEAK ARE SHAMEFUL = I ordered 3 bench cushions from Cotswold Teak on 3/9/2024 - only one arrived. I emailed them with evidence of missing items and they sent me the two missing cushions - the replacements were BOTH incorrect cushions with clearly incorrect codes on the boxes. On 4th Feb 2025, not having learned my lesson, i ordered a parasol from Cotswold Teak and got a confirmation email confirming delivery with 14 days - nothing arrived despite me chasing them several times over the coming weeks/months. I emailed them this monday pointing out that it was now TWO MONTHS this week since my order was placed and since my money was taken by them and saying that i was very disappointed (as they never replied to my chasing AND that i had additional orders i potentially wanted to place with them). I pointed out that i was now being forced into a situation where i must contact my credit card company to recover my money from Cotswold Teak. I then got a standard unpersonalised email back to me saying my order had been cancelled. No apology, no explanation for the problem or inconvenience and no thought by them to the additional order/income they could have had with a suitable reply to me. Just order cancelled and refund in progress. I have bought from this company in previous years and been happy with the products. Today i moved on to a new supplier as there are so many good competitors filling the space that Cotswold Teak once had. Credit card refunds are easy and fair when suppliers are not.

Can someone give me some advice? I’ve ordered patio furniture from the Cotswald company and they have my money but I cannot get any reply from them regarding my order which is due. I have written multiple emails to their customer service but I have had no response from them , so I’m wondering if this company is real. Can anyone out there who’s had experience with this company give me advice? Thank you.

I ordered the wrong size table, so had to change my order. Cotswold were adaptable, and sorted out the change without fuss, and the correct table arrived when they said it would, was easy to put together and really well made. Very happy. I then cut it in half and fitted it round an oak tree, and that worked as well!

We're really pleased with the furniture we ordered from Cotswold Teak. We couldn't find anything else we liked at anywhere near their price. Moreover, when we ended up ordering more things following our initial order, they promptly refunded the original £60 delivery charge and sent all the stuff together. Email communication from the office was swift and friendly. Very good service.

Appalling service. Order accepted and delivery booked. I therefore gave away existing furniture and arranged to wait in. Then received email saying goods actually out of stock. No response to my complaint. Do not use this company.

My 3m parasol was my first purchase from Cotswold Teak and I’m very pleased. Prior to placing the order I made a technical enquiry and it was answered promptly and fully for me to proceed with the order. The item was well packaged and received undamaged.

Excellent quality teak bench delivered assembled (which is rare these days) with super customer service information and delivery experience.
I would highly recommend Cotswold Teak - under the new management the company is now very different, and excellent.

The product I bought in May 2024 - an ‘arrow’ teak extending table is solid, well made, of good quality wood and simple to assemble.
Ordering online and delivery, all the way to Devon, was quick and efficient.

Absolutely delighted! If you're concerned about previous reviews here, it's probably worth being aware that the business is under new management and they're doing a great job.

We ordered a set of 4 garden chairs from Cotswold Teak and are so pleased with them. The build quality is excellent, including the craftsmanship and the quality of the wood, the delivery was fast and they arrived very well-packaged and protected.

The price was very competitive for wooden furniture and we've had really good support throughout. We've struggled to find well-built natural-wood garden furniture and we would definitely buy from Cotswold Teak again.

BITTERLY DISAPOINTED – furniture arrived late August. Mould within 9 weeks of receipt. 6 chairs and 1 table, covered in mould. Even though my husband treated the furniture with teak oil on day 1. Little or no useful response from vendor. Description on website clearly indicates that the furniture is fit to be left out all year round which was a factor in deciding to purchase.
Really annoyed and could write a lot more, will continue to request acceptable response and if possible, compensation; although having read these reviews my chances are significantly low. Note to self! ALWAYS LOOK FOR REVIEWS, the fact that there are none on the website is an indicator. Profile photo is of the offending mould.

Having purchased an 8 seater round table (the extra thick variant), I found that within a year the wood started splitting and bubbling up, despite me painting it with their own teak preserver on day 1. I contacted them recently concerning this and sent them photos (the table is now 22 months' old). They have now refused to do anything or even apologised for the poor quality - well actually they did ... saying 'Apologies we cannot help further at this time'. My previous table from Westminster teak lasted 20 years - this one lasted less than 2 years! I would steer clear - a waste of £650

We bought a garden bench. They took the money and send a receipt / delivery date was meant to be 10 days ago but nothing came and no one is answering calls or replying to emails.

I bought and paid for a teak garden table and chairs on 1st September due to be delivered in 8-10 days. Apart from the acknowledgement email I have had no further response from them and no delivery. I have emailed and left messages on their telephone number but have had no response. Nearly £800 and nothing.
I thought this was a reputable company and that is the only reason I bought from them. I am appalled.

We bought 2 Teddington steamer chairs this August 2023. Immediately, it was obvious one of the chair mechanisms was faulty and did not slide smoothly to allow the chair to slide back. Phoned the company where the ‘person’ who deals with customer service was not in the office. More phone calls and the person never is available. NO joy about replacing or fixing the chair. A terrible after sale service. Avoid this company. What a shame as thought I was supporting a Uk company based in the North. The only good thing I can say is that the delivery men who had had a long trip down from Manchester via Exeter and Lyme Regis to Poole, were delightful. What a shame for them that the company is not likely to thrive.

This business claims to that customer service and customer support is absolutely key. Unfortunately this is just a marketing statement to help convince you to spend money.

We bought one of their £600 Teak Outdoor Bars. After some time the 4 wheels perished and broke and a couple of the hinges snapped meaning that it’s not robust enough for outdoor scenarios as claimed.

No worries we thought as it’s still available we must be able to buy 4 new wheels to replace our that had broken and disintegrated and a couple of new hinges to replace the snapped ones - absolutely NOT!!

Not only do they make false claims they don’t reply to telephone calls or respond to voicemails. They also do not reply or respond to emails despite admitting on just one occasion they had received them!!

All we wanted was to buy replacement parts and fit ourselves - how hard can this be - well obviously far too hard for a company based in the North of England and obviously far to complicated to provide basic customer service.

It’s no wonder the North of England is failing to ‘Level Up’ with business like this and it’s no wonder people think Britain is broken when business cannot even deliver polite basic customer service to spend that hard earned salaries with them.

ADVICE. Take your hard earned money elsewhere to someone that cares and truly values your custom. There are plenty of alternative suppliers out there that perhaps Cotswold Teak forget about
