Beautiful sofas

Beware

Beware - Cotswold outsource their deliveries to a third party. The delivery team arrived at 18.40, We were their second to last delivery, so they were keen to get off to the next delivery. The said they could not unpack our delivery and position the shoe storage box just inside the door, so it was left boxed in our garage. Not helpful for two elderly peope

Delivery of waredrobe and bedside tables

On the morning of the delivery we received an approximate ETA that was later updated to an exact delivery time. We really appreciated this as so many Companies expect you to wait in all day!!
The delivery men were very courtious and fast in unpacking the two bedside tables and taking away the packaging material. They even offered to assemble the waredrobe but other circumstances there wasn't time for that. The waredrobe was very well packaged and the instructions were easy to follow and my wife and I were able to assemble it fairly quickly the next day. The quality and appearance of the waredrobe is very good. Well done to Gary and Ian the delivery men.

Excellent all round

Excellent all round.

From ordering ( Matt sorted out an issue on delivery date very quickly) to delivery, to product quality , we are delighted with our order.

Delivery was punctual with an hours warning of arrival time. Dan and Sam were polite and efficient - could not fault them. A real asset to the company.

The bedroom furniture and bed/ mattress are great quality and we are really pleased with them.

Highly recommended.

Amazing service

I was very impressed with the service I received from the moment of ordering to delivery of my kitchen island. I was kept very well informed throughout the whole process. Particular praise must go to the delivery drivers Bobby & Matt who were extremely courteous and nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you very much.

Terrible Customer Service

Recently furnished my entire home from Cotswold. The salesperson loaded the incorrect order as I ordered full unboxing, assembly, and all packaging to be removed. The company sells a cosy home and delivers cold, heartless service!

My furniture arrived was dumped in random rooms by the outsourced courier. Assembly on only 2 of the 6 items had been booked. The chairs were missing from the Dining Set. Called customer service everyday to rectify and nothing was done, No escalations were made, Supervisors and team leaders did not call back, I was just placed on hold every time.

I had to extend a hotel stay and they literally put me out on the streets as I could not move in without my furniture assembled!

Most coldest customer care Center!!! Just awful where as a customer you place the order and make full payment and the other half cannot honour any commitment!!!!

Rhoda and Tom on Boucher Rd were superb…knowledgeable about their stock and couldn’t have done more to help me find the right product. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the shopping experience extremely enjoyable

Recently furnished our unique property…

Recently furnished our unique property with Cotswold furniture. The products are well made and look to last us for years. Staff is helpful and friendly. I have interacted with them on their unique live video chat. Really like this feature as it is personal shopping at its best. We will always make Cotswold our first choice when buying furniture and furnishings for the foreseeable future. Great experience!

Rude staff! Little to no knowledge of store stock.

Hello.

I had a bad experience yesterday, October 17th, approximately 13;00, at the Belfast Victoria Square city centre store.

First of all, I bought, or so I thought, a North Face McMurdo parka. Staff member, Ally, told me it was a McMurdo 2 in black, which is what I wanted.

She was wrong. It was not. So, then, I get to return it. Ally apologized, I suppose a simple mistake. We all make them, but, checking the item tag would have saved me a long drive across town thru bad traffic.

That’s life, we all make mistakes.

What I am absolutely furious about is:

I checked to see if North Face McMurdo in black was available on the Cotswold website. It of course was not.

Ally, and another very rude lady working the counter, I didn’t get a name, but she has long blonde hair, in a ponytail, both made comments, always has a expression on her face of if I smile, it will cost her money,
*if I didn’t have odd or weird tastes, in black, I could find something there I liked.* Can you believe that?! That there is something wrong with me for liking to wear black color clothing.

Cotswold sells clothing in black color, so, what is the problem?

I responded with, you are both dressed in all black. They both replied, “well, if it was not for work, they wouldn’t”.

Lastly, I do not see it is any of their business what color I prefer, or, how I dress for that matter. IF I wanted to wear a coat with polka dots, it is none of their business. That comment is very rude, to a customer, and I have been steaming angry and cross since yesterday about this.

When I think of the literally thousands of pounds my wife and I have spent in this store!

But, I can insure you, we will not be returning there!

I had to inform you all of this, and I will see if anything is done about this.

I have seen in past comments, Cotswold customer service just gives customers the brush off, and tells them to contact the store manager.
It's called, "the old next window please" excuse.

I will post here if anything, or nothing is done about the rude staff at this location.
