Had my coins on this exchange for some…

Had my coins on this exchange for some time and all of a sudden they changed their website.
Got a mail saying i would get my coins, but first they needed to validate some things etc. etc.
If I wanted to withdraw my coins, all i need to do mwas provide them with wallet addresses for each coin, so they could send them to me.
So i did, but nothing showed up in my wallets.
After a while I contacted them again, but didn't get a reply.
I tried a few times more but never got replied.
Now they blocked me from visiting their website.
How are these people getting away with fraud at this scale?
If ordinary people scam someone for even 1 euro, they will be punished, but it seems that if you scam people for millions, you get away with it.

My message to all, never ever use this exchange, they will scam you!

Don't Go Near Coss.IO

I invested currency with coss.io a few years ago. I purchased the exchange coins which paid dividends in the form of exchanged tokens. This was so I didn't have to monitor my tokens every day. Since then it has been taken over by new management.

I was unable to access my account for over a year because they were making changes to their system. I finally got tired of waiting for them to finish what they were doing so I opted to "skip the line" as they call it.

I was given access to the exchange but had no tokens available at all. They explained that the coss tokens were phased out for a different token (I don't know why they wouldn't just exchange the tokens automatically instead of just dropping them, any one who had these tokens have lost their investment).

Fine, so I lost my coss coins. I asked what happened to the other tokens I was receiving as passive income from staking the coss coins. They passed the buck, below is their response:

Hi,

It appears you had the old COSS tokens which were phased out by the previous management in 2019.

The swap window for COSS to COS has ended in November 2019. The previous COSS team extended it twice to give even more time to the token holders.

The new COSS team have no access to the token contract or records related to swaps. There is nothing we can do to swap those tokens.

Regards,
COSS Support

Don't trade at COSS

Had traded at COSS exchange since it opened shop and never once had I believed that Rune would one day scam us all. Now all my cryptos with COSS are in their "audit" mode - which means little or no chance of returning back to me :(

Coss.io is a scam crooks

I have little money in the exchange. Last January 2020 they emailed me about changes in their website and now the website is up and running I can no longer log in. I have emailed them twice and no response. STAY AWAY FROM COSS.IO EXCHANGE. You're not dealing with serious people. I'm sure you'll find better exchanges and crypto sites out there. It's a fact they are a scam.

Exit Scam Exchange

With no zero doubts now, I’m certain tried COSS pulled an exit scam on everyone, with the aim of rebranding and coming back to prey on more but can never be me. I’ve been able to able to get my money back by mailing to the ‘email address’ tagged to the top of this review with no fees.

Ideally it is not a migration but actually an exit scam. Now the new COSS account says ‘’KYC is NOT mandatory for fiat and crypto deposits but KYC is mandatory for all fiat and crypto withdrawals.

Stay away.

Be very careful with this exchange

My funds have been locked for over 2 months, and no end in sight. The company just closed the exchange without prior notice, just saying that theyI will return some day. Currently, no one knows who the owners are, which country the company is based on, and which regulation it follows.

I also requested my personal data (they have my passport copy etc) twice as is my right based on the terms of use, gdpr and pdpa, yet after over one month, I have not got any repply that my request was even being processed.

The list of bugs and issues in the past is long, including market selling all customer trades automatically by mistake, not being able to cancel orders, etc.

The company closed all support channels simultaneously, and email address mentioned in the terms of use for complience was inactive.

Now that the exchange has returned, users have to do KYC before withdrawing their funds (not compulsory before). Withdrawal still not possible.

Be very cautious.
Highly recommended to avoid this and to stick to more reputable exchanges.

If you are still curious, I recommend reading cases such as Arax failure, dilluting COS token with LALA token, i.e. increasing the total amount of the token, and coss announcements about mismanagement by previous team members, and audit problems without more detailed information what these are related to.

My wife and I are based in the UK and…

My wife and I are based in the UK and wanted to have a gamble with spare change on buying and selling cryptocurrencies.

We use coss.io because in our opinion we find their customer support great and the exchange quick to load and easy to use.

Since coss.io has merged with lala world there are planned new improvements to the exchange such as a new website, fiat gateways; things are just going to improve on this platform (in our view).

Worth a look,if like us you are happy to have a gamble and invest in crypto.
