Is there anything good?

Flight from Ams to Curacao was delayed. Just 2:50 hours. Reaching Curacao, we were told that Riff hotel does not have 24/7 reception so they placed us in hotel Livingstone (lower star, less nice rooms, not the same breakfast, not all inclusive) as payed. Next day, we needed to organize our own transport to original accommodation. Well, reception works 24/7! It was just overbooked. No return costs offered to be payed, we will ask for legal assistance. Another one - we should fly back today, well guess what - flight delayed, different plane, they kick you out at noon, so you should think what to do for the rest of the “delayed “ time. 2 days prior to our situation, whole flight was canceled when already at airport, no option to rebook. Specially difficult for people with kids. Oh and yes, plane we came with just picks people from Curacao back to Amsterdam without cleaning the plane. So your cushion is probably someone’s just few min earlier. First and last flight with this company. If you have this amount of money, please add extra 300 - 500€ (per 2) and enjoy your vacation without stress with some professional company.

A claim is currently pending since…18-9-2025

A claim is currently pending since September 18, 2025, regarding a delayed flight and its handling. To date, only half of the claim has been paid. I've contacted them twice via Messenger, three times by phone, and seven times through Corendon case management, and I'm getting nowhere. It's impossible to reach anyone by email or phone. Even more strangely, the main booker paid for two people, and the claim is being paid out individually. Hopefully, we can close this case soon.

7+ hour flight delay

7+ hour flight delay, they made no explanation or apology for this but were more than happy to charge me £80 to change the name on my child’s booking from Alex to Alexander before permitting me to check in.
They gave us vouchers for £25 each to use “anywhere upstairs”, guess what, they didn’t work ‘anywhere at all’ !
They still, over 3 months later, have made no effort to explain, apologise or be forthcoming with the compensation we are legally entitled to.
I can’t stress this enough, never, ever use these charlatans to book a holiday or flight.

No response to complaint tickets

They changed my flight time to 1.5 hours earlier with no notice. I only found out about the change when I checked in online the night before and it completely destroyed my plans. I had no way of going to the airport, no further help provided.
I created a complaint report and it was also closed without a response. Then I created another complaint about the complaint with no remarks and still waiting for a response for that one. It's a miracle the planes of Corendon even take off.

Everything about the flight

Everything about the flight, from checkin to on board service was good. I have no complaints about my journey. There were one or two administrative problems before the flight, but they were resolved without too much trouble. I would certainly use Corendon again.

No support or flexibility

I booked a flight and made a mistake of choosing July instead of June. Called the airline right away, spent multiple hours taking with customer service trying to make a change or get a refund with no luck at all. The airline does not care about the customers, only about selling a ticket

stay away from them evil and twisted company

stay away from them! sick and twisted cancellation fees getting people into debt for a number of years. I booked a holiday last year and cancelled it then they make you pay 800eur cancellation fee if you wanted to cancel (this was within a few days of booking btw)

I'd never ever use them again for a holiday nor would I recommend a friend or anyone else to either

Most unreliable airlines, NEVER BOOK WITH THEM

Corendon is the most unreliable airlines I have encountered. When we bought the ticket paid 50 euros extra per ticket to get the most suitable hour to flight at 10:20am from Amsterdam to Las Palmas. However they changed our flight to 6:20am. I called them telling them that flight is too early, we cannot arrive the airport at 5 am. It takes us 1 and half hour by train, and the train does not leave that early. Then I kindly asked for cancellation and refund because in their website said that they can cancel my flight free of charge if my flight got changed. But they refused to cancel and refund my flight because they said that is normal the flight time got changed, is in their website saying the flight can be changed, but i could not find anywhere in their website saying the flight can be changed. I told them that I really cannot make the flight that early, they told me is not their problem, they are sorry! Excuse me? This is exactly their problem! I asked them for paying me the taxi, otherwise I would lose this flight, they refused! What amazing service they have. NEVER BOOK WITH CORENDON!

Absolutely the worst experience ever

I haven't even flown yet and there have been several changes to the flight, first it was cancelled, now instead of a direct flight there will be a connecting flight!
We have a car rental reservation, accommodation booking, this is not acceptable without the possibility of doing anything!
Never ever again!

Very poor customer care experience

Flew back from Antalya airport 2 days ago with Corenden and it was one of the worst flying experiences I have ever suffered. Delayed by 3 hours with no explanation or apologies.
We ran out of water on the flight, so asked one of the cabin crew if we could have some water for my daughter who is breastfeeding but were just told repeatedly, we would have to pay for it, which I refused to do on sheer principle. They finally agreed when my son-in-law asked again. This particular cabin crew member had a very poor attitude towards me which I strongly suspect, but cannot prove, was gender based. Two of the passengers at the end of our row were listening to their phone on a very loud setting without headphones which we felt was unacceptable behaviour however when asked to either use headphones or turn it down, they became quite abusive, the cabin crew walked past several times but did nothing to help.
All in all, I appreciate delays happen, but the odd update as to what was happening would have been good. The attitude of the cabin crew was my main complaint.

The worst flying experience I have ever…

The worst flying experience I have ever encountered in my life, My bags were delayed/lost for a day. leaving me stranded in a foreign country. with no support, in fact they just ignored me as they continue to. their "support" pages will literally give you the run around i suspect just to frustrate you into giving up. I had to foot the bill for 2 nights hotel, food and all my medicine had to be replaced not to mention the additional cost of another flight home. BECAUSE THEY LOST MY BAGS/ never in my life have I had my bags lost and to add insult to injury, THERE IS ZERO SUPPORT. NEVER AGAIN!!

Paid but didn't receive tickets and no refund.
I'm already 5 days trying to get my money back, filling in complaints and reaching out to customer service but it's completely quiet! Posting on Trustpilot, they can react within the hour but solve a problem isn't their thing.
I've booked and paid but didn't get the tickets. Being promised a refund within 2 days but after 5 days still nothing. They don't reach out to solve it, they just keep your well earned money so you can't book a holiday. Thieves and disrespectful company it is!

I'm still waiting on my refund of over…

I'm still waiting on my refund of over £2,000 for a flight in July 2022. Was told mid September it'd be 6-8 weeks, it's now been over 20 weeks, still nothing, no payment, no correspondence through the website (even though you can see they've read your message), and no way other than the website to contact them. Do not use this airline!!

Flight was cancelled, still no refund after 6 weeks

I booked our family holiday return flight for 9 passengers with Corendon Airlines in May: Booking ref YAQ5DQ. for £3024. They cancelled the flight 30t6h August and promised a refund within 14 days. Despite several phone calls the refund has not arrived. At short notice it was very difficult to find an alternative flight. The only flight available is more than twice the price because it is so close to departure and also it isn't a direct flight. I can't afford to book this until I get the refund. So our whole holiday is now at risk and our insurance will not cover our losses.

Corendon's policies are designed to cost you money

My partner and I have booked an early morning (7ish) flight from Amsterdam to Crete on October 21st. We received a booking confirmation which only stated the date and our names, but not the times of the flights.
When we were sent the tickets on the 6th of October (2 weeks in advance), we found out they had changed our flight to an afternoon flight via Bodrum, no layover but just a stop where you stay on the plane. A 7-hour trip instead of a 3h20 flight, plus we would miss our first day of the holiday.
Now I know the rule is, that flight schedules can change up to 2 weeks before departure. This is stated in the fineprint. However, we have not been informed of the changes, meaning by the time we received our tickets we could only cancel/change flights by paying 75% of the total fee of the original flight, PLUS the fare for a new flight.
By not informing us (even though the information of the change was known before, since we found out other people had been able to check their new dates/times online) they made sure we could not cancel or rebook.
The cancellation fees within 14 days of departure are 75%. Which means, by the time they send you your flight information, you are already screwed. I strongly suspect the flight was already cancelled weeks in advance, since friends have tried to book the same flight in august and it was not available anymore. At the time, we thought it was just full. Now I think they just did not inform us to prevent us from cancelling free of charge. WHAT A SCAM!

Pleasantly surprised!

Well .... After booking our hotel and flights through booking.com and then googling Corendon the next morning and reading the reviews on here, I promptly rushed into the nearest travel agent to ask their advise on whether I should change our carrier. I had my mind put to rest but I must admit I was still slightly dubious on our day of travel. Our experience in all honesty exceeded our expectations. We checked in 72 hours ahead as advised and the process was simple - we successfully and quickly chose our seats and a confirmation was sent immediately via email and SMS.

On the day of travel, at Antalya we saw that the 1100 STD had changed to 1110 - boarding was on-time and yes, we left the gate at 1110!

Onboard a very clean 737 we had the pleasure of 4 very professional crew members who gave us a nice service.

If I have one negative comment, it was that the cabin was very warm, even with the overhead airflow unit on full blast - I was quite uncomfortably warm (but that could be my age!)

The onboard service was a bit pricey but only what you would expect onboard any airline these days (€8 for a doner wrap) which my partner said was 'Ok'

Landed on-time at LGW - no hassle at all so my partner and I were very pleased with the whole experience!

Please don't be alarmed by the terrible reviews - our experience was good and we were definitely pleasantly surprised.

WORST AIRLINE EXPIERENCE EVER

WORST AIRLINE EXPIERENCE EVER! Booked a one-way flight from Hurghada to Brussels with Corendon. Everything seemed fine, we arrived at the airport 3 hours early, had our documents; and suddenly we were denied access, as we only had a one-way ticket. They expected us to have a two-way ticket, as it was a charter flight, which was never explained or mentioned to us. Apparently it was in the small letters somewhere in 'terms' - it was clearly a scam. We were stuck with 5 other passengers, all with the same issue, and apparently this happened every day (quote from a worker: "you're lucky, normally it are more people").
In the beginning, the 'responsible' was helpful and emphatic, explaining that this was indeed not normal behaviour for an airline and that he too was ashamed of this, as this happens everyday and it seemed a part of Corendon's business model. All questions regarding a refund where ignored or rejected that we had to arrange this via telephone with Corendon's service desk. The 'responsible' offered us to book another flight in cash at an excessive price to Dusseldorf (5 hours later than the Corendon Airlines-flight). We booked it via Internet for a third of the price that they wanted us to pay in cash. When we did not give the 'responsible' the cash, all his interest was lost. Bye bye the empathy. (repeated quote: "it's busy, I'll come later"). Unfortunately, 3 of the 5 persons gave him this money already in cash.
When we asked for a customer complaint sheet, they first gave us a paper in Arab, saying that this was the letter we needed. In fact, it was just a paper to exit the airport. We really had to push for having a customer complaint letter. Still, I highly doubt that these letters will be read by the people who should read them...
I have travelled a lot in Asia, Europe, South America and Africa - for business and for leisure reasons - and this was by far the most frustrating, scandalous and corrupt airlines I ever witnessed. I hope to see a refund, but this would evidently not even compensate the horrible experience and the lost hours.

Sketchy company

This company is a big scam. They will do ANYTHING to prevent you getting help asking for a partial refund because of flight delays.

They will redirect you to a different Corendon complaint management webpage at which you need to create a new account.

Half of the times the webpage gives an error. Clearly a way to demotivate customers from making damage claims.

When creating an account at said page (if it works eventually) a confirmation should be sent to your email. However, this mail will never arrive, not even in your spam folder (I have waited many hours). When trying to login directly after creating the account it will say "Invalid login".

Their "live" chat is never live and always offline. Calling them will get you into a MASSIVE queue and in the end they will tell you to fill out a form at the webpage which I just mentioned anyway....

It's mind-boggling how hard/impossible they make it for you. On the other side, creating a new booking account is done in less than a minute.....

It's literally impossible. This is a very sketchy company.
