very helpful team. did everything online which was really convenient as we had a complicated family situation with a house sale.

My team is team 5.
Simply awful. They take weeks to answer an email. I’ve been in the system now since January 19th 2026
February 19th 2026 was the last correspondence I received.
Since that date I’ve had to chase the team every week for an update. Sometimes I get a reply ( a week later) but mostly I get ignored.
I’ve even put in a complaint. That’s been ignored too. Tried to phone. No answer.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Go with a company that cares and wants to try their best. This company acts like they are doing me a favour, instead of doing the job they are being paid to do.

Team 1 and Zarqa were very good. When I phoned I was able to speak to someone, they were always very polite and were able to see where the purchase was up to. I would recommend them.

Conveyancing Expert were recommended by the estate agent who I purchased my first property from. I would highly recommend the company and in particular Team 4 and especially Helen Martin who kept me informed throughout the process and ensured completion in a very quick timescale.

Excellent service from Thomas and the team during both my house sale and purchase. Thomas was professional, patient, and highly efficient throughout. He kept me updated at every stage, explained everything clearly, and delivered on everything he promised. His support made what can be a stressful process feel far more manageable. I’d happily recommend him and the team.

We used this company when we bought our first house, but unfortunately, they didn't inform us that the garage was built on a different plot. Now, 10 years later, when we tried to sell it, it turned out that no one wanted to buy the house because of the garage. After contacting Conveyancing Expert, they provided zero help. After filing a formal complaint, they refused to respond, and we were left with an unsellable house.

They've got the job done. But communication was horrendous. Missing information or documents. Had to chase them for documents that were supposed to be sent to me. My case handle - Nicola, provided minimum information during communication. As a first time buyer this was stressful. I regret dealing with Conveyancing Experts.

Nicola and the team, have been fantastic throughout the sale and purchase. Communication has always been helpful and processes have been explained clearly from the start. Highly recommend the team at Convenyancing Expert!

My advice to anybody who has put a negative review is liaise with your solicitor yourself and give instruction. Also take their advice. Do not use your estate agent for everything. It is for you to chase up so things dont get lost in translation and add to your stress. I wpuld most definitely recommend. They are meticulous and dont charge the earth

Update - They wanted to charge additional for everything, which adds up considering they weren’t the cheapest quote as we chose them through Your Move, we did argue the 3rd party fee which they agreed to wave because of the issues we had at the beginning (however this didn’t end up being required) but also charged extra for completing and exchanging on the same day even though I had set the completion date weeks in advance. They just hadn’t been able to sort exchange until the day of completion and then charge me £240 for it. Currently going through the complaints process and will update if we get a resolution.

The solicitor gave an excellent service on transaction of selling property the lady kept me informed of the full process and was very professional

I found the whole process of dealing with Conveyancing Expert Ltd extremely frustrating and stressful. I am aware they have received a few positive reviews, mainly in respect of Team 1, so maybe it is just Team 4 that in my opinion are useless!

Timescale - the process took over 5 months from start to finish, even though it was a cash buyer and there was no chain involved. Three ‘exchange of contracts’ dates came and went (cancelled for various reasons), finally successful on the 4th attempt. Conveyancing Expert always blamed the buyer’s solicitor for any hold ups or errors however I met the buyer on the day of completion and he told me that his solicitor said it was CE that were responsible.

Communication – was terrible. Not just with me but between each other and the buyer’s solicitor. I only spoke to my case manager (Helen Martin) once during the whole process. Everything was done by email and it would take on average a week for her to respond. If I tried to phone her it was always one of the assistants (Mornantau or Zanthe) who answered the phone and always said HM wasn’t available as she was in a meeting. They always promised to pass on my message which was for her to return my call but this never happened. There were occasions when other case workers got involved (Laura and Thomas) when HM was on leave or not in the office however this led to more confusion and mistakes being made, as ‘the left arm didn’t appear to know what the right arm was doing’.

Attention to detail - was non-existent. There were numerous errors made to do with various documents. The following are just some of them:
There was a typo regarding the title deed numbers on the contract.
They tried to charge me for a missing lease policy even though the lease was not missing. They returned my marriage certificate to the house I was selling which was empty instead of my primary residence. This was pointed out but they still made the same mistake again when returning another document.
The final statement of costs was incorrect with items added that I had already paid for or were not relevant. It took them three attempts to get it right.

Obviously, with hindsight I would not have used this conveyancing company, would never use them again in the future and would never recommend them to anybody.

Conveyancing Expert and in particular Helen Martin who was our solicitor was excellent. She kept us updated and guided us through each step. She was approachable and friendly.

Suffice to say moving is one of the most stressful things a person/family can do, and ours was quite complicated and we had a tight deadline. Despite being unwell herself, Zarqa from Team 1 worked very hard to get us completed in time. Many thanks ☺️

We used Conveyancing Expert to deal with the sale of our late Mum's flat as executors of her estate. The sale was complicated by the simultaneous extension of the lease. However, Beccy and Laura took all the hassle away from us and got the completion through in really good time given the circumstances. Woul definitely recommend.
