Had my contigo west loop for quite a few years now and I love it however the lid needs replacing due to age wear and tare after contacting contigo they will replace the lid as part of a warranty claim which mine isn't covered under due to age but they don't sell the lids in the uk, but they can as part of a claim doesn't seem fair to me so on that basis DONT BUY ONE.
Bought a contiago mug. Really liked the design, size and the locking mechanism. Main problem is that it is meant to be a thermal mug. For the first couple of months it kept drinks warm for a good amount of time. Then all of a sudden this stopped and the mug no longer keeps drinks warm for any meaningful length of time. Still a nice looking lockable mug but that’s about it.
I have owned four different models of contigo mug in the last few years, every one has failed within months. Replacement parts aren't available only replacement lids which cost as much as the mugs. If you request a replacement under warranty they expect you to spend more time and money than the product is worth jumping through hoops. Avoid like the plague, I will never buy again, fitbit of the mug world, built to break.....
