I found what I was looking for straight away. Delivery was within a week and then I got an email offering a discount as there was slight damage to one of the items. That was good of them to offer before I received the goods so I was aware and not too disappointed when the goods arrived. I was happy to accept and they refunded me with the discount straight away. The product is high quality and easy to install

Although I am convinced something went wrong with the shipping of a previously returned part, it appears it slipped through, a genuine error rather than deliberate practice or policy, I've changed my mind and review.

I had not attempted contacting Condor, they did however contact me after my review and spent considerable time explaining it was OEM packaging and they wouldn't knowingly ship a defective return and also refunded the parts cost.

I've mixed experience with online retailers some are fantastic, some I'd never spend a penny again in 10 lifetimes no matter how much cheaper they are;

It seems a genuine error, I imagine if I were looking at a return in the warehouse I may not have noticed the twist or the application of the 3M anti rattle stickers.

I was wrong to assume Condor would be in poor camp (while raging at the cost of my lost weekend) and will certainly use them again.

Purchased some Portland Design Mudguards (expensive, but got good reviews) and went via Condor as I'd used them before and their price was as good as any competitor.

They arrived quickly, the "fenders" arrived in a plastic bags taped together inside shipping the box, in hindsight this should have set alarm bells ringing, as the packaging didn't match my experience with other fender manufacturers I'd used, but convinced myself it was some OEM type packaging.

As I installed them I was pleasantly surprised that some of the instruction steps were already done on the front guard e.g. installing the anti rattle stickers (a mugs optimism).

I'm competent, these are not my first installation, I could see some twisting of both fenders (alas post cutting the stays and after I'd started to experience fitting problems) but thought that must be BAU. The back mudguard (with 4 mounting points instead of 2) went on no problem.

After 2+ days tyring to fit the front I had a choice of having the front look OK over the bars the back misaligned/twisted off and rotated to one side or vice versa due to the subtle twist down the middle of the mudguard.

I eventually tried bending the front with a rotor truing fork as suggested by Portland, it helped a little, but not enough and I couldn't stand to look at the bike, it offended me.

A week+ later after thinking my experience through I decided to risk buying another set from another supplier. After seeing proper Portland shipping packaging, joining the dots I realise now I've been shipped a faulty return. The new set has were not perfect, they had a almost imperceptible twist BUT the mounting hardware could manage that.

My lost time is far more precious than the cost of the fenders, I'd budgeted for 3-5 hours, I wouldn't have purchased some returns even at a massive discount, and never at the full price.

All arrived in good order and when stated. Trackr’s worked first time and the Brompton bell is really simple but works a treat! No hesitation to buy from Condor again.

Condor are fantastic at stocking spares for small items as rubber bungs for Lezyne lights. Also their own branded products are my go to versions when available - always tried and tested quality.

From the start Condor customer service was amazing - answering a couple of questions I had as to frame compatibility very quickly. The frame shipped to Spain within 48 hours will all fees paid already. The Super Acciaio frame is beautiful, rides wonderfully with a responsive, racey feel, but still the smoothness of steel. I needed a couple of parts for the build and Condor got these sent out super fast the next week as well and sorted quick shipping again. Absolutely excellent - particularly the customer service - it’s great to encounter customer service of such quality these days, when it is getting so rare.
