Abysmal service, abysmal comms....

I suffered HUGE problems with this company- thus need to share my personal experience of poor service, attitude and communication throughout. When my vehicle went in for repair I was told I needed to pay another £186 for new bearings too despite only 47,000 miles on clock. I lost 2 days wages as did not pay another £250 for a courtesy car as was to get car back Monday and the monies for it could not be reclaimed for 2wks after return- and had already paid over £300 so far. It was agreed my car would be ready Mon lunchtime for the additional bearings repair-and it was not available for another day and a half later than promised due to problems with their CHOSEN courier not delivering parts as agreed.I was not offered any reduced repair costs and I found the director’s responses were offensive, rude and wholly unprofessional. I sought mediation with the Motor. ombudsman...this company has decided not to sign up to them!! Definitely a case of buyer beware with this company-be Warned!

We keep a detailed risk register of any issues with suppliers and if jobs do not go the way they were planned. Emma was offered a courtesy car but refused it based on the refusal to pay the damage deposit.

She then wrote in claiming for loss of earnings for two days but this was declined as she optioned not to take a courtesy car due to the unfortunate supplier failure.

Very impressed with the Oxford…

Very impressed with the Oxford depot...dropped car off at the agreed time and the 20.000 mile service on my Audi Q5 was carried out fully.the 2 Customer Service Engineers are extremely pleasant and efficient and helpful which is not always the case ..Will definitely use them again

Absolutely disgraceful AVOID !!!!!

Absolutely disgraceful! Had two new tyres fitted then when I got the car back found both alloy wheels damaged. Was told the damage was already there by the mechanic. The car is only 1 year old and the wheels were perfect, I am disgusted how ignorant and unprofessional they are. All they want is your money.

Thank you very much for arranging the MOT very promptly. The work was carried out within the time mentioned at a very good price. I found the staff to be very helpful informative and knowledgeable. The staff were very friendly and guided me the process very efficiently.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I needed to get the 2 cars in my household serviced and MOT'd so after searching on Google i found Concorde Auto Centre and the prices looked competitive so I gave them a call, I was quoted a fair price so i booked. I was then asked to pay upfront over the phone for this (which I massively regret doing).
Before even running my cars through the MOT's I was told I needed new break discs, pads and 4 new tyres (even though they looked fine to me). I was also charged upfront for these jobs.
They had my first car for 2 days with no communication only to be told after calling them several times that they did not have my tyres in stock and the supplier would not drop them down and they had no idea on when the work would be complete. So I had to walk down to them, collect my car to get the work done myself (which I had to suggest). I took it 5 minutes down the road and had 4 new tyres fitted within an hour at a cheaper price.
The receptionist spends most of his day apologising about refund delays, incomplete work and waiting times due to being overbooked (I know this as I spent many hours in the waiting room).
You are given a specific time slot but often will wait hours more than the quoted time that your car will be ready.
I then waited and had to call constantly to get the refund for the incomplete work, which eventually got refunded one month after the initial payment.
This is the most disorganised car company I have ever come across, I'm amazed the company still operates as they must rely on repeat business to stay open.
I will avoid this company at all costs in the future. If my car were to break down outside this shop I would literally push it to the nearest garage away from this place.

I took my Audi a4 to Concorde auto…

I took my Audi a4 to Concorde auto centre in Leicester well impressed the guys did a great job. I always used side street garages before and I was surprised at the cost Concorde gave me never us a side street garage again well done lads see u soon

The work carried out to my vehicle was Brake and wheel bearing replacement

The work carried out to my vehicle was of excellent standard.But i was not very impressed by having to leave my car for an extra day because on fixing my car i was told the mechanic had broken an ABS cable and they had to order it in and it would be not be fiited till the next day.I was the one that had to ring up 3 times and then find out this was the reason they did not ring and were hanging on to my car.Not once did Concorde ring and tell me this was the case.
I found the pricing at £585 a bit excessive for replacement of front Discs and Pads and replacement of 2 front Wheel Bearings.
I also resent Concorde sales techniques 3 times i was actually rang over the 2 days saying my car was due a service.I refused 2 times saying i cannot affored it due to the cost of my repair and on the 3rd time i said i could not afford it again because i do not get paid till month end,the sales person then i asked if i could get someone to pay it for me...What kind of garage would ask such a question???
Overall the work was of good standard but Concorde need to look at their pricing and sales techniques.
I shall not be returning to Concorde because of this.

Probably OK for Tyre's and exhausts but…

Probably OK for Tyre's and exhausts but for major repairs i would be careful.They take funds in advance and when you cancel its difficult to get the money back can take 3-4 weeks which is much to long.They (pbo) billed be for 4 hours in advance (£312) to strip down an engine part and wanted the vehicle for 4 days.Guess what BMW main agents fixed it the same day and charged 2 hours so the cost was the same.Thus get a quote first before you part with your money.Just proves main agents are not always the most expensive !!!
