Trainline should be ashamed of themselves being associated with these con men. Appears I signed up unwittingly while purchasing a train ticket. Been charging me £18 a month for something I didn't know... See more

Absolutely ridiculous! I did not even sign up or give permission for this company to go into my bank account and take out my money! Yet they did that without my knowledge!

Doggy website, you sign up for a membership an they charge you a monthly fee without you signing up for one.
Beware of the scammers.

It seems a fraud to me. I cancelled the subscription and have asked for refund. I hope I get my refund in time.

I spotted this transaction and turns out they've been fraudulently deducting for past 13 months from my account! I called NatWest bank and stopped it.
I called complete savings and demanded a full refund - update: they emailed to say 'according to our records it seems you also have a membership(s) with us for another programme'...
I have never agreed to pay anything to them, ever, never...so I'll be expecting a further cancellation and refund for this fraudulent action.

I’ve been told by Trustpilot that I have to change this review or it will be deleted in 3 days. Be very careful when you make a purchase with this company as you will inadvertently be signed up to a monthly subscription with another organization called completesavings.co.uk and charged £18 per month.

Yet another sneaky scam that somehow gets you signed up for 'something' that you're unaware of and charges every month. Apparently, buying a train ticket is how I got signed up??? Calling customer service appears to have resolved the issue....I hope!

Charging £18 per month after joing in. I just cancelled my membership. Hope the automatic payments will stop.
I attached here the reference number for my cancellation request, hope they check it and make sure they cancel these payments.
Very disappointed of not being made aware FEOM BEGINNING about this fee!!

I’ve not even signed up to this or seen the website before and it randomly took £18 out my bank account like mate what the heck??

Tried to take £18 without consent! Absolutely no idea who or what this company is! Reported as fraudulent to bank & cancelled thru bank. lucky I had zero money in my account😆#studentlife

Same as everybody else on here. Didn't sign up for this at all. Dont know how they have my details...not set up as a Standing Order or a Direct Debit on my account so I can not cancel through my bank. They take the funds directly from my card.
I have cancelled the payment online through their website and I have requested a refund.
I only found the payment by going through my business account and googling the company...A complete scam.

I never signed up for anything and took €18 today from my bank I tried to ring a uk number but couldn’t get through. So there is an Irish website with an Irish number to call and I cancelled it this. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Absolute waste of time. I joined as got a referral after making a purchase with Dorothy Perkins. They took money from my account, I went to redeem my monthly reward but I can only redeem it at Dorothy Perkins, that wasn't stated or made clear when I joined! What an absolute load of rubbish why would I want to keep shopping with the same retailer! They are scammers.

I just noticed £18 taken from my credit card. I thought it was something to do with an unscrupulous hotel owner who fraudulently took £40 from my card. This was not the case. When I checked back through my credit card payments, I found payments taken by this company since the end of July. Went straight down the bank this morning to enquire exactly what had instigated these payments. The bank said that I had probably unwittingly signed up for something through an app. Card and any payment requests have now been stopped.
I eventually got through on the phone to this company in Switzerland to enquire as to the source of my supposed subscription to this service (scam). They told me that it was through a purchase made at Birmingham Airport and that I must have filled out one of their forms in order to subscribe to the scam. I assured the guy on the phone (Nick) that I would never subscribe to such a scheme if I'd have been made aware that it would cost me £18 a month, with absolutely nothing in return. It transpires that all this originated in June, when I booked car parking at Birmingham Airport through NCP. The only details I filled in on an online form were those which NCP required, so be very aware if using this car parking service.

Be aware that you may have unknowingly enrolled in this service. I was charged £18 after purchasing an item from a well‑known online retailer, and I have no recollection of ever signing up with completesave.co.uk. It’s a good reminder to regularly check your bank statements for any unfamiliar transactions. Fortunately, they only managed to take £18, and I was able to cancel the service after finding their phone number through an online search but have not been able to get a refund of the £18. Your bank may be able to place a stop to ensure no further money is taken using your debit card, my bank has, but won't charge it back unless I report it as Visa fraud.

Didn't finish signing up to the service and never claimed anything. No refunds offered when I rang to cancel. A company designed to trick people into signing up. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Terrible company, please someone shut it down. This is day light robbery. They have been taking money from me for months and i only just noticed.

I totally agree with another reviewer who states this whole model is set up to confuse and trick people into subscribing. Its interesting that they never send you a single email because that would alert you into realising what's going on. I have a number of debits going out of my account and didn't even realise. I got stung for over 5yrs. I had absolutely no idea and didn't use the service even once. They have taken £1059 in total. I've emailed them and im waiting for them to get back to me.
Update: Complete savings have got back to me and after a few checks they verified that I had never used the service. They have refunded the full amount.

This is an unethical, cheating company who seem to purposely use short and unclear wording on their direct debit information.
