Ordered a candle on 6th feb for my wife on Valentine’s Day. Now the 16/02 - no candle arrived, no response to query on non delivery raised on 13/02, but I have been asked for feedback twice.

Do not place an online order. I should have read reviews first because several people have had the same experience. Orders placed, never arriving, then being totally ignored by the shop.
After receiving nothing and being ghosted, I had to recover my money through my bank. Don’t do it.

I placed an order with plenty of time for Christmas and it never arrived despite chasing via several methods I had no response. Extremely poor customer service.

Order placed over a week ago and still no updates
Placed an order a week ago where lead time for delivery was 2-3 business days. No tracking been provided or any notice from the merchant. I emailed and also WhatsApp them, no reply still. Terrible customer service and I’m starting to think they’re a scam and I need to retrieve my money back from my bank.

Deceitful business owner! Stole money
My order was placed in March 2025, I dropped three candles to Sam’s unit in Marchwood to be refilled along with 8 gin bottles as agreed & selected by Sam. I’ve chased, I’ve emailed and it’s now mid October 2025 and simply nothing. In the initial weeks Sam stated they would be dispatched. I’ve now given him 7 days to refund my money, to return my refill candles otherwise I’m placing this in the hands of my credit card company to financially pursue him for. Noting the other reviews so many other people have been again had money stolen, Sam turned from an honest business person formerly employed by Hampshire Constabulary to a total fraud.

Had an email early march saying I'd get…
Had an email early march saying I'd get an update on my Feb 1st order (sent 6x bottles for cut and fill paid £80). Still no update. I'd sent many messages before my March update, owner responded they had been unwell but promised would get on to this in next 24 hours. I was understanding of this situation but got no update the next day as had been promised. Now 10 weeks, still no bottle candles, and no replies to more recent messages.
Very upset as these were special bottles and always had great service from this company previously, recommending others in the process.
Really disappointed
I'm saddened to leave a bad review but am unsure what else to do. I ordered 4 candles in February for various gifts in March. I paid in advance and sent off the bottles as requested. All of these bottles were either limited edition or ones you can't purchase in England. It's now been 6 weeks and I haven't even had confirmation the bottles were received by Compass Candles. I understand they're a small business and know there's been some issues which I sympathise with, but essentially I've paid £100 with no communication or idea when or if I'll get the what I paid for. I've also lost the bottles which I can't easily buy again.
Haven't received order
I have had no shipping confirmation since purchase 9 days after placing order. I have also reached our twice on WhatsApp with no response. Highly disappointed as previously used compass candles and recommended to several friends and family. The purchase was for a birthday that has no been and gone.

Candles smell amazing, burn for a long time and the wooden wick is lovely.
Sadly, on re-ordering, took almost a month to arrive, with no explanation and no replies to my enquiries via WhatsApp/sales email as listed on the website. Poor customer service experience but great products.
