Scammers

Hello, and to whom it concerns, I started a Coinbase account back in 2016 and had a great deal of money invested in cryptocurrency. In the summer of 2024, my account was hacked. Nine different transactions took place over a 24-hour period and wiped out my entire savings. I was notified by Coinbase to verify these transactions, and I told them that I never authorized any transaction in the last 9 years. It was an online bank that had no physical address; therefore, there was nothing that could be done about it.

Coinbase failed again.

This incident started with CoinFlip bitcoin machine. I have been using CoinFlip machines to buy bitcoin and transfer it into my bitcoin wallet at Coinbase. The reason why I have to do it this way is because Coinbase is forever not allowing me to deposit anything into my account to buy bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency because repeatedly I have had to redo my KYC my ID verification. Coinbase phone app is ridiculously hard and will almost always fail with doing it this way so I have to go online on a computer. All of this was recommended by Coinbase support even after doing this my limits would only allow $200 per week and that would only happen once The next time or the next week my limit would be down to $10 no matter how many calls I made to Support all I would get is boiler plate answers never anybody smart enough to figure out what the problem was Eventually I gave up with trying to put money into my Coinbase wallet and using CoinFlip Yesterday I used CoinFlip again After two hours of waiting for that money to make it into my wallet. I called CoinFlip.
CoinFlip support told me the money was put into my wallet an hour earlier. Coinbase had no record of this.
In fact, they not only had no record of that money, making it into my account, but all of my history with Coinbase was gone. There was no history when trying to find out from Coinbase support all they wanted to do was give me boilerplate answers they repeatedly asked for The hashmark number of that transfer almost like they weren’t reading anything that I sent them. They asked me my name six times. Coinbase support could not give me any answers and I was told that I needed to email Coinbase support. I’m a little upset because not only did Coinbase not show anything being received and CoinFlip telling me it was sent and delivered. I am out of a $200 transfer and nobody can tell me where it is.
To make matters worse, CoinFlip closed my account for no reason Seems a little suspicious to me. I don’t know who the guilty party is, but both of these companies something is not correct.

Avoid

As a customer, you don't really need this.
When it comes for you to pay money it is ready and waiting.
In case of any issues like simple refund or a customer support case, they just let you enjoy alone (or report to the police, which is not relevant).

This is a quote from the support communications:
> Please keep in mind that Coinbase Commerce does not take any custody of funds for transactions between customers and merchants. As a result, we’re unable to stop, cancel, or reverse any payments on our end.

Just don't use it. Don't send any money of yours via Coinbase Commerce.

Frozen Account for No Reason

Coinbase is not safe. Just as coin values began going up 2 weeks ago they froze my account. I chatted online and on the phone for over 2 hours. The only answer I got was they could do anything they wanted and they were not regulated. And then laughed at me. Well after watching my profits go into their pockets for 2 hours. I decided to sell my cryptocurrency and send it to my bank. They could have frozen my account as long as they wanted - 5 or 6 months. Having been victimized once I never trusted the account. I lost $20K in profits over a 2 week period. I had worked and waited and watched for 6 months for the crypto melt up. Coinbase had never corrected me for any actions. So I was shocked when they froze my account. And it appears that they can do anything they want. But I think they chose to penalize me at a very questionable time. If you question their actions over the past 2 weeks I’m sure you will find an unusually high number of frozen accounts. But I can’t recommend Coinbase to anyone.

If i see brian armstrong its on sight

I have been trying to use this DOGSHIT platform to make an online purchase, they already took 5 dollars from authorize a direct transfer, nothing left my wallet, and it was so broken it kept prompting me, which caused me to sign over and over, causing me to get IP banned from the store. if the option to pay in crypto involves using this, for the sake of your sanity, dont even bother buying

Fees and Refund Policy

I've lost transaction fees from their interface toggling from withdrawl to deposit so I had to pay transaction fees twice. Also signed up for a trial of CoinBase One. Was unable to get back to my technolgoy on the weekend in time to cancel. Charged me $299 and refused to refund me. Pulling all my cash out and using a different platform. Hope they fail with policies like this.

Horrible coinbase commerce update

Horrible coinbase commerce update

I used to like coinbase commerce for several years. However they decided to ruin their payment gateway and offer limited options to pay with crypto. Why remove the option to even use bitcoin to pay through other exchanges and self-custodial wallets? I hope you will revert this update, otherwise its better to use another crypto gateway

They say that they are on it and will fix it. After offer us open extention wallet for keep on accept payment and we done it. but for 2 days non-of payment reach our coinbase commerce account not index in our wallet. we try to talk with support about 1 months and all they say '' we are on it'' they just hold our 2.000 dolar in our wallet and we never reach it.

Bad April update ruined everything

We have used the platform for the last 8 months. Everything was ok and at some point, I even came to terms with the fact that there is only erc20 for tether transfers :) But after their April update, it is the end.
1) You can only pay from certain mobile wallets using a QR code.
2) You don't even see the wallet number.
3) Some codes don't work.
4) If you do not use one of the proposed wallets, you simply CANNOT PAY!

This is very counterintuitive and inconvenient. We have already started the migration process to another platform.

Release my Fund and help me to withdraw

Release my Fund and help me to withdraw
From 2018 they hold my account and then opt for account closure. I have 20.3481 ETH in my wallet and i tried so many times to withdraw but every time it shows (You are currently unable to send Ethereum. Please contact support.)
When i tried to contact they everytime say that you will get an email soon.

Now on 25th June 2023, i got an email that states (Please note that you will be able to access Coinbase.com or the Coinbase app until 25th September 2023 and should withdraw any funds held in your account by such date.)

But when I tried again it's the same message I got.

I just want my fund to be back that's it. but i am hopeless about what i can do to get my fund back.
I am facing a lot financial issues, i thought this time i get back my fund but same thing happened.
