I wouldnt even give this taxi company 1…

I wouldnt even give this taxi company 1 star its the worst company you could ever use. 2 and half hours we wait most days and its booked through SEN in advance daily. My son has missed so much time of school. You get fobbed off by the appalling staff on the other end of the phone, staff are snotty unhelpful ar****es. Don't no how or why people and schools use this service it needs shutting down. Fumin this morning 😡😡🤬🤬

Apporiling service drivers don't give a crap about disabled people really poor service

I ordered a taxi and half a hr later rang back and was told they are still looking for a driver I had my disabled client we were going to the empire and yet again let down unreliable very poor service I will not be using these scum bags anymore they don't care about disabled people in wheel chairs and if they do show up I have to get wheel chair in and they don't face the chair backwards or put seat belts on her I have to keep hold of the chair such lazy drivers want you in and out and they are no help at all

On the whole this Service treats disabled people like scum but what’s really bad is clearly the councils who pay for it don’t care to do anything about it. The service never arrives I waited three hours today and that’s typical previous time. I waited all day in the end that came the next day this time after 2 1/2 hours I rush down as quickly as I can. It takes me five minutes to get out he cancelled because I taken five minutes after waiting 2 1/2 hours for someone. Then I was told I could book again i.e. wait another 2 1/2 hours with no assurance that they would help me or prioritise me when I spoke to a supervisor it was even more depressing because she clearly could not care less she started quoting terms and conditions saying he only needs to wait five minutes when I couldn’t get out any quick. I certainly not after being so exhausted from waiting 2 1/2 hours. Then she told me off for not answering the phone to him when he called when I was on the phone to com cab who told me he had arrived why would com cab not communicate with him? I couldn’t answer the call to him if I’m on the phone to com cab and I had no number to call him Back. This service is not in the slightest understanding of humane towards disability and it’s abusive to pretend you’re offering a service or not as a disabled person I am very dependent support to be able to be Mobile and clearly this isn’t support

I don't know which idiot signed the…

I don't know which idiot signed the sale of a state-owned company, which before being sold to Addison Lee, was working without a problem. You place a request and the taxi comes at the appointed time. With the new owner (clearly manipulating the system by taking money from the state without providing trips for the disabled). I don't know how, with so many complaints, there is no reaction from the inspection authorities (maybe the inspectors receive bonuses to keep quiet). There is no other explanation for the no reaction from the state, or people with disabilities are no longer a priority for the state. I wish those who turn a blind eye and do nothing about this issue that it happens to them or their loved ones to become disabled.

Absolutely disgusting firm

Absolutely disgusting firm, rude, late, incompetent, inconsiderate, unprofessional. Booked two weeks before for 91 year old disabled parent to attend Christmas dinner with family. My 87 year old Mother waited 1 hr in the cold with my Dad in a wheelchair and despite 4 phone calls to a very rude and abrupt COM CABS rep, never arrived. They replied, that they were busy. My 87 year old mother had to push my Dad 91 for 30 mins in dress shoes and hurt her feet. 2 1/2 hrs later , COM CABS rang back to say, sorry we still
Don’t have an available cab. They didn’t turn up for the return journey either. We had to push my Dad back in his wheelchair. Never use COM CABS, absolutely dreadful company.

This was genuinely the worst experience.

This was genuinely the worst transport service I’ve ever used in my life.
I understand people can have bad days — I’ve been there — and I even gave the driver a good rating because I didn’t want to damage his record. But honestly, this whole experience was unacceptable, and I feel extremely let down by the Taxicard service.
I booked the journey a whole day in advance to ensure I would be on time for a medical appointment — something I take very seriously due to my medical condition. Despite that, the driver was late (arrived at 14:22 for a 14:00 booking), couldn’t find my address, and there was no live tracking or reliable communication. I had to call multiple times just to get basic updates, which only added to the stress. I ended up arriving late to my appointment, something that had never happened before.
On top of that, I specifically requested a card machine in advance, but the car didn’t have one. The driver was firm, even borderline rude, insisting it was my responsibility to have cash — and forced me to stop at a cash machine, wasting even more time. I only found out later that I could’ve called the office to pay by phone — that was never mentioned or offered.
The car wasn’t clean and honestly didn’t smell great either — which made the whole trip even more uncomfortable can imagine was never cleaned. And when I called customer service, I was greeted repeatedly with “Who are you?” instead of a proper, professional tone — which felt completely inappropriate.
After this stressful and disappointing experience, I’ve decided this service is absolutely not for me. I will stick with Uber or Bolt going forward — services that actually show up on time, let you track your ride, and don’t make a stressful day worse. I was excited to try Taxicard and had high hopes — but it ended up being a huge disappointment, I understand is a cheaper price but not worth the stress. Pay more and have better experience with a different company.

Take your business elswhere!

I was going to take time to write a review of my experience with ComCab, but I can see by the lack of response to the overwelming negative reviews here, Com Cam appear to have litte interest in a customers experience of their service. No wonder the black cab trade is dying fast.

Their app is now deleted from my phone.

All I can say people is, take your business elswhere!

My client has used this taxi service as…

My client has used this taxi service as a disabled individual and found their services to be a complete disgrace. Not only are they totally unreliable but their drivers lack any form of care and compassion and overall it seems to be a badly managed company and service. My client has had them cancel on her almost everytime she has booked with them even though these have been precooked journeys. The attitude of some of the drivers is disgraceful and I am unsure as to how they are still operating when they lack the basic customer service skills. I would not recommend this company to anyone especially those with disabilities as they do not have a care in the world. Management need to take a serious look into how their drivers treat their customers and retrain the majority of the drivers.

Absolute disgrace of a company

Absolute disgrace of a company! Left my disabled dad in his wheelchair in the pouring rain. Never turned up after pre-booking and double confirming the booking. Not interested on the phone, didn’t care they left an 80 year old stranded in the pouring rain. Found a genuine cab driver in a van cab who took us after 1.5hrs.
DON’T USE THIS TAXI COMPANY!! If I could give them a zero I would!

Liverpool Lime Street

Got on at Liverpool Lime Street station for an afternoon trip across town

No meter on show - did the same journey back to the train station a couple of days later with a different company and was charged HALF the Comcab fare

I will be steering clear of Comcab in future

Booked a black taxi and told them it needed to fit a pram. They sent usual taxi and it then meant a 30 minute delay waiting for another, we missed our train and had to pay £100 for new tickets. Do not use.

Preying on vulnerable people

Absolutely terrible service

Absolutely terrible service, my son has autism, this company arrange his transport from his SEN school to and from home, sometimes he can be as late as 2 hours home due to them taking circuitous routes with too many children in taxi and picking them up over an hour late after school. (His school is 20 minutes from his home! 2 Hours!). As parents we are placed in the position of not knowing where they are, why they are late and whom they are with. I called today to ask about complaints procedure and to talk to a manager about my concerns. My call was met by a person with a very rude attitude who seemed to think it wasn’t her problem, and had no intentions of helping me solve it. I then called back to complain about her attitude and ask to speak to a manager and was told there were none available and then I was hung up on. How this school and Liverpool City Council have awarded this contract to a company with such scathing reviews as this (check out google and trustpilot) I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure there’s been corruption involved because they haven’t won this contract by being good at transporting vulnerable children. That said, I haven’t met a bad driver yet, it seems they’re just poorly run or not properly funded. The guy who dropped him off today was affable and apologetic, he validated my concerns and explained how it was beyond his control. Due to there not being enough taxis he’d done an extra run to get him home,but he’d left the school 45 mins late. I can’t fault the drivers but the company just seems terrible to the point of their telephone staff being passive-aggressive, invalidating, mocking and obnoxious when voicing concerns about a vulnerable child being late home. It’s disgusting.

Awful Experience

This evening my sister was waiting for a cab to take her from her care home in Edgware to Alexandra Palace Theatre. The booking was made a week ago. My sister has severe disabilities and had been looking forward to this Christmas treat for ages. Despite repeated calls and explanations of her plight and despite the fact that the cab was booked for 90 minutes before the show, no cab came. She never made it to the theatre. She was waiting for two and a half hours. She was in tears. I was in tears. What a terrible experience. Cruel and inept.

Dreadful experience

Dreadful experience, don’t bother with this company . We booked a cab to get us to a venue for a wedding, which I made very clear on the additional comments. No show !
We booked again for later in the evening, as we needed to get a pram in .. which again we requested whilst booking . No show again !!
We were very let down and I will not be using them again

I don't know what to say really rubbish service

I don't know what to say really! I have been let down more times than I can remember!

Not just bog-standard booking with comcab but even when dial a ride has allocated a trip to comcab, often booking is made and promised but driver doesn't get assigned until after the booking time! When we call I we get is that we only take the booking! Driver says we only got the job assigned! No-one actually takes responsibility for the time we end up waiting!
