I just bought my second pair of custom trousers and they’re just amazing. My first order was a trial trouser to get the perfect fit for the more expensive fabrics later on. Even the trial trouser had a better fit and overall style than and other trousers that I’ve worn.

The service and fit adjusting recommendations from Ignatius are always on point and I really appreciate the flexibility with custom requests.

When the more expensive pair arrived with all the adjustments to the fit, I was blown away by the quality and perfect fit.

Had a great experience with Collaro. They’re very accommodating with requests, their customer service is top notch, and the end product speaks for itself.

Collaro is a great brand, that has great great products in terms of quality and tailoring. The only negative is, that they are placed in Asia, which sadly puts a tariff on all the products that are imported into Europe.

Great place for affordable Gurkha trousers

Discovered Collaro via bchanism on Instagram. I'd been wanting to try Gurkha trousers for some time, but my shorter-than-average frame (5'4") makes it inefficient to go with off-the-rack options, e.g. Todd Snyder. I hadn't tried online made-to-measure since my first Indochino suits 10+ years ago, but Collaro made the process easy while maintaining individualized attention & communication. The discounted test trousers were another unique feature I haven't seen presented elsewhere, and it helped a lot in reassuring me of the quality before committing to a full purchase. I only wish I had more occasions to wear the trousers!

Prices have increased a fair bit over the years. For example, there’s a review from another customer dated Feb 2022 on YouTube, the same material reviewed now costs SGD$60 more. In the context of Singapore, there are multiple brick and mortar tailors that offer competitive prices but the service collaro provides and intuitive website makes it decidedly easy to return. The bulk of my wardrobe consists of shirts from them. They’re all buttoned downs and the collar design is the most attractive I’ve seen in a shirt. I remain thankful that there’re basic fabrics which fits my price point. Should prices continue to climb, I’m doubtful I’ll be making more clothes.

Collaro is a clothing brand that delivers tailored outerwear, trousers, jackets etc. via made to measure.

I came in contact 2023 with the brand, which is based in singapore and ordered now several times.

I think the only downside I can add at the moment, is that making your own measures abroad are difficult especially for a first timer. Also the pictures sometimes are a bit too bright compared with the actual fabric.

But I would say these are minor things for me and easily worked around.
The team of Collaro (especially Travis) answer all you questions, whether its about fabrics, measurements and even after delivery they consult you on changes and how to adjust your measurements.
If you never had a cloth made by them you can order a trial version first.
The quality of fabrics is great and the variety is from winter to summer fabrics.
You can additionally ask for fabrics if they sell them or send pictures of cloths you have seen.

Since I ordered mostly jackets and trousers i can say that their drape and fit is more natural around the shoulder. Overall a very timeless and elegant fit.

Shipping usually goas via Fedex which is efficiant and fast.

Overall I really appreciate their shop and will definitely buy in the future.

I have been using Collaro for years, and have been recommending them from day one. They are an online made-to-measure service, but that category doesn’t do them justice, because their competition in that space (Hockerty, Indochino, et al.) don’t come close. Yes, they are considerably more expensive. Bentleys are considerably more expensive than Geo Metros. Having owned suits from Indochino and Collaro, I can say for certain that the difference is obvious when you put them on.

What I have really appreciated over the years, more than the high quality clothes, has been the customer service. Travis and the rest of the staff have alway made me feel like I’m the most important client in the universe, even when I haven’t bought anything in a while. If you care about businesses that take the time to foster relationships with their clientele, Collaro is one of them. And they’re doing it online, which is even harder to do! They’ve made a lifelong customer out of me, even if I can’t afford as many suits as I’d like all at once.
