This is serious advice especially to novice traders on how not to get scammed by Coinsmarkets as I was, all my retirement savings. DONT INVEST. SIMPLE

The scam model is similar if not identical to others such as Grand Pacific Trade (a similarly dire company well known for scamming).

They harrass you non stop to invest with smooth talk and promises. The first danger sign is when you want to withdraw - massive reluctance even if you have high liquidity and Margin Level. The trick is the "account manager" guides you what to invest in. I totally to appear to make good gains ON PAPER.

Believe me, the profits are not there, your funds are stolen and banked by CM via a tangle of crypto wallets. They will lose all your funds, blame you and issue a Margin Call which means you have to put more funds in. The "account manager" looking after you commits to months of Contracts in advance and loses you money by not using Stop Losses on trades to protect you, then denies he had anything to do with placing trades.

You will be asked if you are an investor or trader. They prefer investors as they are easier to swindle. It is a question designed to make you feel trusting and looked after. It is meaningless, do not go as investor.

is extremely shocking to lose everything despite very convincing salesmanship. Above all avoid an "account manager" called David Hoffman and his "boss" Paul Baros. They will send you broke, they did it to me when I was sick in hospital. No scruples, no honesty, no conscience. DO NOT GIVE A CENT TO COINSMARKETS, I WENT THERE AFTER HAVING BEEN SCAMMED ONLY TO BE SCAMMED AGAIN IN JULY 2022. This is here to warn people and protect them. These a**holes snort too much coke and are very aggressive. STEER CLEAR AT ALL COSTS.

You will be very sorry you ever went near them. This is a 100% genuine review and I can prove it. $850k lost in just four months, I am suing COINSMARKETS for deceit, embezzlement, fraud and larceny.

Luckily I have an extremely aggressive lawyer in my family with decades of FS experience. He will rip COINSMARKETS a new one. These people are condescending, arrogant, irresponsible charlatans.

As an addendum today 03 August 2022 I provide this update for anyone considering Coinsmarkets.

They are harrassing me with garbage claims that I have $4 million in funds which are "segregated" yet my Balance and Equity are in minus on my online account. This is utter desperation by an incompetent account manager who deliberately put me into very bad trades with no Stop Loss positions (he had no answer as to why he did this when asked) in order to get me to throw more money down the coinsmarkets toilet.

I've already shown him I have no funds left, he now wants me to access my wife's retirement funds! Scumbag. Ordure.

How to scam a scammer. Promise THEM you'll bring another account then block them. I brought my wife's account on a plate and in an act of utter stupidity and self sabotage they lost it! You can't fix stupid 🔧🙇‍♂️.

These people have ZERO morality. Do not indulge them, it will end badly. Already coinsmarkets has tried to get my review removed on numerous occasions ( it's damaging them) but in vain thanks to the guys and gals at TrustPilot doing a great job.

I'm just glad it's over, I'm suing and I never have to talk to them again. I will recover funds, their exchange wallets will be frozen and they're losing business even as I write this addendum.

THIS IS NOT FROM A TRADER BUT AN INVESTOR. IF YOU ARE NOT AN EXPERIENCED TRADER DO NOT COUN ON COINSMARKETS TO MAKE YOU MONEY (SO WHY DO THEY CHARGE COMMISSIONS?!).

ONE ASPECT IS THAT AS IN MOST BROKERING (MORTGAGES FOR INSTANCE) THE ACCOUNT MANAGER LOSES HIS COMMISSIONS, TO THE EXTENT OF COMMISSIONS CLAWED BACK FROM WHAT HE HAS ALREADY BEEN PAID .... OUCH!!!😭🤣

My response to the proposal that I find more money to throw at the wall was "Do some decent Trades to get me in the green, you got me into this, you take some risk with YOUR Company's funds, show some respect, initiative and and pull your finger out".

Huh ...... Then you see the truth ..... They WON'T risk THEIR funds having lost all yours for you!

Totally delusional ..... (too much substance abuse perhaps?). Traders make millions then weaponise EVERY CENT against you to get what THEY want, screw your needs.

Tough for Moms/Pops who having "invested", lost everything due to negligence/greed, get frightened and invest more. WRONG. DONT DO IT, CUT YOUR LOSSES.
