This was my second loan with Cohort Capital in six months, and they delivered again. The transaction was to support the acquisition of a trading company with multiple assets, there were lots of moving parts, including refinancing various company loans, yet the team coordinated everything at pace so I could complete an off-market deal on a tight deadline. A standard bank wouldn’t have managed this complexity in the timeframe - Cohort did.

This lender can't be trusted at all, dealing without integrity, skipped the intermediary who brought them client and then dealing with the client directly to avoid paying the agent fee.

It took a lot of back and forth on the terms, but once we agreed it was smooth sailing from thereon. Matt was mostly very helpful and simplified the process a lot. The best thing was one point of contact and no nasty corporate hierarchies to deal with. Once the paperwork was complete, we were able to drawdown the same day which enabled us to complete on the property. Would definitely recommend.
