Codeverse is a wonderful teaching platform.

Codeverse is an incredible opportunity for kids ages 8-13 to learn coding. The instructors are a combination of patient tutor and clever software engineer. The development environment is browser-based so there is zero setup required. The games the students make are so cute and clever, and it’s rewarding to see the sense of accomplishment kids have when they’re done.

The Codeverse trainer is knowledgeable and patient

I recently enrolled my seven-year-old in Codeverse. I find that the Codeverse team are very considerate and patient with my son. This was a major criterion for me while searching for a coding platform. His trainer is very knowledgeable and seems to know how to keep my son focused on the process. I love the Codeverse platform because it is introducing my son to the concept of actually writing some form of coding. Most of all, he is excited and looks forward to meeting with his trainer.

Disappointed with cancelation policy

I cancelled my account because my son was losing interest and they deleted all of his remaining credits. Up to this point, we had mostly enjoyed the coding experience itself. My son had a lot of good, patient instructors.

We love our guide Daniel

We love our guide Daniel!
He is patient and encouraging. Daniel has found the best teaching style to match my sons learning style (trial and error), and encourages him to test things out when he is unsure. Daniel has created a nurturing environment for learning. My sons is dyslexic, and working with Daniel on codeverse has created a new passion, and opened a whole new world. This different perspective has helped improve his reading. We are so grateful for our experiences with Codeverse.

As part of technology and innovation

As part of technology and innovation, coding is one of the roots. I encouraged my daughter about coding which she did not like initially but she finally agrees she likes coding with the help of Codeverse.

Thank you codeverse for the support and time flexibility

I give four stars because I did not receive our instructor class report for a long time . It was not because he did not send it . It was because when my kid was sick , I canceled the membership and unsubscribed it . The Secobd time when he was doing fine , I enrolled him again . I did not receive class Report or friendly remind of when class would begin or there was sometimes a free group lesson I used to get via email . It has been so quiet . No class report or other information . So I contacted codeverse office to figure it out why . I unsubscribed , that was why I did not receive class report for the part few months . Codeverse teach kids to code , how come codeverse did not find the glitch and fix it immediately . Kids come and go and they will return most of time . Once you unsubscribed it , you are not supposed to receive messages or information . It does not make sense to my case at all . I filled in all the information when I re enrolled him when his health got better . Another matter is that it seems we have more than one account . After we re enrolled him got coding . We went to wrong accounts . Why there was two accounts . It is confusing .

To be honest , I am satisfied after I called office to figure it out . I received class report and emails to ask if my kid got most out of his coding lesson.

I loved the experience we first time we enrolled .I had a close contacts with codeverse.

Hopefully my experience at codeverse helps to improve and make the best places kids are interested .

Jackie is inspired by the kid script. We believe wonderful things should be made simple without any end-user complication. Ms. V is one of few outstanding human beings with every detail and thoughtful workarounds. Subscription is made straightforward and hassle-free.

I am a picky and difficult person when it comes to money.

Codeverse makes its future with me and well-deserves my every appreciation.

A good idea with bad execution

The rollout of their latest KidScript version was a complete disaster. It wasn’t backward compatible with the previous version meaning your previous games no longer worked. Plus the new version is extremely laggy and uses all the resources of your computer until it either crashes or burns up. Kids are extremely frustrated and the guides spend the lesson time just cleaning up the mess.

I’ve also had extremely different experiences with different guides. Some really know what they’re doing - they’re good with the kids and can actually help them solve complex coding issues instead of just copying and pasting the missions. Others don’t know the answer to basic things and promise to follow up but don’t (chances are they won’t be assigned for subsequent lessons).

The kids do enjoy the program but with all the glitches and frustrations the lessons end up being a waste of time. Too bad.

We are so sorry that this update was an inconvenience for your kids in their classes. While we did run tests and a handful of mods prior to the roll out, we were not able to catch all possible errors. Thank you for taking time to give thoughtful feedback to help us build a better product!
We also try our best to accomodate guide preferences if families have a guide in particular they want to work with. Again, feedback from our families is always welcome.
We will be reaching out to you to see if we can provide additional context and solutions.

Codeverse has improved

Codeverse has improved my child’s self esteem and confidence. The one on one class is amazing. With each class my child is able to create more advance games as well as adding more complex goals to the games. Very excited to continue with the program.

Overpriced for Mediocre Services!

Overpriced for Mediocre Services!
The first 2 experiences trying to schedule were terrible, guide didn’t show up, second time they had supposedly technical issues. Causing unnecessary stress in my children, they were so excited for these classes. Also a waste of time.
You as a customer can’t skip classes because those will accumulate before you realize you cannot re-schedule them without paying extra, or at least you need to continue paying a membership to “receive the classes you ALREADY PAID for”. No matter how you see it, Codeverse has a terrible customer service, they don’t care about keeping a clientele based on business relationships with you, they just want your money. Most Guides lack skills to work with children because many of them will just dictate or read the lines to your child to code. This is not teaching coding this is copying and typing lines!

More flexible session cancellations

This program could definitely use a more flexible cancellation program, life happens sometimes and I don’t believe I should lose a class session that I paid for just because of an unexpected occurrence in my life.
