Hi all,
I have tried to put there my JS script, they rejected my script twice. First time with a reason: "Does not meet the minimum value/quality requirements to be sold on the marketplace". I thought there was lack of description/readme while the reason had no specific information what I had to fix. When I added description in JS script and copyright notice they claimed me as a thief and banned. My suggestion they are playing dirty and collect intellectual property without author's permission, since I uploaded files to their server already and cannot force them to delete it. Plus they do not offer you licence as a basis to copy and distribute your intellectual property. Now they can use my script as they want, having me banned. Actually stealing intellectual property is an illegal action. I spent a week of my life to create the component and fit it to Codester "requirements" and they just banned due reason like "I am a thief".
I have written about the issue to the support, I was really angry, due the unreasonable accusation triggered me. In spite of this, support guys behavior were calm and professional. They investigated the issue and brought apologies for the mistake. I would like to bring my apologizes too for my suggestion above and thank Frederick for his patience.

I am sorry to hear about the rejection of your item. We have a very strict policy against copyright infringement. Uploading copyrighted material that is not your own will lead into a permanent suspension of your Codester account.
All items that are hard-rejected are deleted directly. We are developers ourselves and don't take any risks with this.
We can understand it is frustrating if your item does not make it to the marketplace. That said, it's no excuse to make up stories about Codester stealing your work and to spread distrust. First of all we are not interested in your work as you have noticed the hard way and secondly we put a lot of time to fight copyright theft, which is something you unfortunately have also experienced.
If the work you have uploaded is 100% yours, please contact Codester support. We should be able to help you from there.

Codester seems to have no quality control process for the products they sell.
I was looking for a prebuilt ionic/angular social media package. I thought I had found one on Codester. It looked nice from the pictures and it wasn't expensive. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect, but I expected it to work as advertised. I got the file and unzipped it. First red flag No build instructions just the code. OK, fine, it's ionic, so I ran "npm build" which is the command to build node-based projects (which ionic and angular are) error after error after error. The code didn't work.
Codester has no quality control it seems. They don't check uploaded files to see if they actually work. You would think that a company that is selling turnkey solutions would have at least some kind of requirements that developers include important things like instructions as part of their offering.
Their refund process is terrible. You request a refund, then you wait for the developer to notice that you sent in a refund. This process could take days, or weeks, or even months. There sees to be no clear timeline where Codester will step in if the developer hasn't responded. The support forum for the product I bought, the developer took on average a month to respond. I suspect I won't get a response for a refund through him for at least that long and will have to go through Paypal or my Credit Card to get my money back.
Then they'll block me because apparently that's what they do, and that'll be ok because I'm never buying from them again...

I do think you have to check then the item was indeed purchased as it is technically impossible to request a refund after 30 days.
We only give a refund in the case of the product not working as advertised or the author is not giving support to the customer. Always make sure to give to some good support to your customers.

Codester is good, but needs to improve
Codesterneeds to update quality standards. Don't buy anything unless you have tested it thoroughly. I purchased a script from codester and it was a complete disaster. No replies on support. The developer is also not replying on the provided support Email.
When I asked for a refund, at codester support, they reply after 48 hours.
But Yes, they gave me back my money.

Because it was busy, we were not able to reply the same day and had to reply the next day. Our apology for any inconvenience. We can image that the first time you purchase something from a website which you don't know and you don't receive a direct reply you start thinking the worst.
