Great artists and excellent

Just good to be able to get back into listening to albums on a dec again

I was a bit dubious about these as I thought the sound quality might be a bit suspect but I bought 4 and they are excellent. The cover artwork is good too.

Always on time

I ordered a Roxy Music double live album in coloured vinyl. It was delivered very quickly, was well packaged and in perfect condition. This was the first time I have purchased anything from Coda Records, but I will definitely be using the website again.

With the resurgence of vinyl there are an increasing number of mail order companies out there - some great others far from it. Coda are super reliable with a great selection of stock. When I order something I really want to know that it will be promptly shipped and professionally packaged. And at a competitive price too. Coda ticks all of these boxes. They've never failed me!

I bought three albums.
One was fine but two were faulty
One had a bad warp and one had next to no sound in the left channel.
The recording is a stereo recording so obviously very little sound in the left channel is a fault.

I sent you a YouTube link of a video of it. Also you never commented on the poor sound on the cure LP. It's mostly on the right channel.

OK, then. Apologies for the warping issue, I can send over a free returns label for that item. Regarding the Cure album, unfortunately, we're not able to accept returns for this reason, as it is a subjective matter and opinions on the sound quality of releases vary significantly amongst collectors. I understand that is frustrating sometimes, and I do apologise for that. But as a very small independent business it just isn't feasible for us.

So basically if you get a record where their is a fault with the sound do not expect any help.
I am not taking not liking the sound quality but I'm talking a fault.
I've heard the same recording before so I know it's stereo.
The sound keeps fading in and out and going distorted with crackles. The version on YouTube doesn't do clearly not the recording but a fault.

Now bear in mind we are not talking sound preferences
We are talking a record with next to no audio in one channel compared to the other channel and crackles sound.
Not the typical vinyl noise but crackles like lose wires
Also the record has very distortion

Since informing coda of the faulty cure LP it has been removed from their site.
What strange timing
It was available just before I reported but is now gone.

Updates after sellers response.
Seller said about multiple messages sent.
On the sellers website they have a chat feature
I replied to their mesg via that and when I clicked enter it sent the message.
Also I uploaded I believe two videos to YouTube. One of the cure album so they could hear for themselves and one of the other album that arrived warped and that album they agreed to have returned as they accepted it was faulty.
The seller seems to think this is about the recording.
It is not, I have heard the recording on YouTube so I know it sounds fine.
This is about my record which clearly has a faulty.
Faulty records can happen for a various reasons.
For example my other record I purchased is warped.
Are all the copies of that pressing warped.
Of course not but my one is so clearly faults can happen during the pressing process.
This is not about sound quality but about the actual record being faulty.
Regarding me contacting Robert directly.
I actually said I would ask my friend too as they are personal friends with the guy so I am sure they wouldn't be happy with this situation.
I have since learned that what they are doing is releasing bootlegs.basically unofficial releases which they get around legally by paying for some license.
I will explore this further as I wonder if that law actually exists for bootlegs, I know discogs does not allow bootlegs to be listed as they no longer allow Jeff Buckley bootlegs but maybe the license they pay covers them.

Thankfully the payment service I used had better customer service so hopefully I will get my money back.
Failing that I will have to go to the small claim court which of course affects their credit.
The fact they are hiding behind sound quality excuse when sound quality isn't the issue as I have heard this bootleg on YouTube and it doesn't have the same issue as my record does.
If it was sound quality then the YouTube copy would have the same issue

As for the vinyl not being removed
I searched on the site for my vinyl and the result brought back one result which was a different album

I just searched on YouTube and the copy of this album I found was released by a different record label called yellow vin records so it seems this album is released by a few bootleggers.
I guess some have better standards.
