They subcontracted the job out to a window company who fitted me very poor quality windows,and installation was really bad and Also damaged my property whilst fitting the windows

Would not recommend Cocuun.

Been 6 months and external insulation still not finished. Roof leaking, electrics don't work. Never clean up, don't turn up. Either don't know what they're doing or don't care or both. Then get abusive when you complain.

Refused scaffolding to finish my Dormer window

I am so unhappy with the finish of my Dormer window.
Cocuun subcontracted window fitters and all of my windows are amazing apart from the reprehensible dormer.
Cocuun treated the front dormer window as a separate entity and not fully part of the house so didn't supply scaffolding, so the window fitters had to push the new window out from the inside. That in turn broke off some of the facia and left the whole of the window framing unfinished, not fully sealed on the outside and open to the elements.
Cocuun then consequently blamed me on the condition of the whole frame, siting wear and tear and the weather causing the facia to drop off. All my windows were of poor repair, hence why I required new ones! They have refused to rectify this unless my local Council pay for the scaffolding. This was a Warm Homes fit. Cocuun obviously didn't want to pay for scaffolding, originally on my house.
I am the one left with an atrocious front dormer window surround, unlike all my neighbours dormers that have been fully finished.
Cocuun are receiving this bad review as they've had so many changes of staff over the last year that I feel I have now been lost and left behind in this particular Warm Homes scheme they were contracted to fit.
The windows are, in fact, fantastic and the window company subcontracted were great but they were also concerned by the way they were asked to fit the dormer window from the inside?
I am so stressed about this whole issue and I am waiting in trepidation for the remaining old framed surround of the dormer to eventually fall off or worse still, to let in the rain. I check every day.
The one star on my review is because Cocuun sub contracted the professional window fitters, not for Cocuun themselves, who have yet to deserve any praise on this as they did absolutely nothing at all but blame me for the current state of my dormer

Very efficient contractor who is willing to help and with a smile.

I'm highly warned everybody please…

I'm highly warned everybody please avoid these people such a Unprofessional and Unreliable company don't let them to do any job in your house otherwise you will chasing them all the time . I hardly recovered £550 worth damages but my kitchen and bathroom flat roof still damaged. Incomplete job.
Completely waste of time.

was sort of completed 18months ago contractors from Hull that did the work had no respect for my property or had no passion in what they do, left me financial loss stress and so much mess . 14 months later Kristy
phoned me to say she had just driven by my home and noticed the walls were very patchy and will need to do a second coat .!!.. I was never kept up to date with any of the works throughout so this was no surprise as I'd had lots of comnents from friends and neighbour's on what a bad job had been done. A second needed coat was applied to the front and side of my home. But NOT the back? Three managers later bob and alan took over my issues and
On a positive note sent wayne and gary from cocuun this week to tidy up the snags I had been left with including my down drain pipe that had been left unattached for months and I cant fault them.gary and wayne turned up when they said , did what they needed to do so thank you very much to them both and to Alan and bob much appreciated

They stole my deposit of £500

STAY FAR AWAY!!! They stole my deposit of £500. They wanted me to pay the full £1000 but I requested to pay half after the work was done.

The MD (name can be found on my google review) tried to assure me everything was okay when in reality they just wasted time making lame excuses and, in the end, did nothing and ran off with my money. The office person who was never in when I called the reception, she apparently is away on holiday for weeks or called in sick for other weeks.

They did a survey and said there's asbestos and left. They didnt do any work and just took off with my money.

After months of trying to contact them, they finally say I won't be able to get my deposit back because of a survey they did which is usually free and done before the actual work is started, and the installers who came and left after 10 minutes doing no work and just observing the property.

NO WORK WAS EVER DONE. I am in the process of trying to get my deposit back with Trustmark and the Financial Ombudsman Service.

It is the worst business I have dealt with and is still giving me headaches and physically making me sick. The company is atrocious and abysmal. I wish I never did any business with them and for sure will never do any business with them again.

If you don’t want to throw away your money or deal with narcissistic people, stay far away from this horrible and fraudulent business.

The concern for the safety of our colleagues and customers is always our top priority, and we’ve tried to be flexible to these circumstances and it’s unfortunate we weren’t able to reach a consensus. Green Home grants is not their fault!!

Cocuun can't be faulted for the shambles that was 'Green Home grants' or the lack of materials and high demand caused by the pandemic. They did all they could to get my grant over the line and then organise the work. Quality of job was fine for some bits and excellent for others. There were issues along the way but these were sorted.

THEY LIE OUT OF THEIR TEETH! FIND A DIFFERENT COMPANY!

Don’t trust them! They made me wait for an installation over six months, I extended my 10k voucher as they wanted me to as they promised me they’ll do the job! I called them every week for the job dates, they passed me around to colleagues with the promise that someone will get in touch but no one did for 6 months. Made a mug out of me and now my voucher is coming to expire in a week! Why did I trust them. If I had gone with a different company my EWI would’ve been done and me and my ill children wouldn’t be suffering every winter! The government won’t issue another voucher for these jobs anymore..this company is very horrible and absolutely nasty big liars please people don’t trust them and save yourself from losing out on government based schemes. I also have screenshots and emails I’ve sent them as I started to notice their lies. Theres a few people involved in this. Not once they tried contacting me., I guess they’ll say they have which isn’t true hence why I had to call every week, which I can prove!

Do it use this company . Lack of continuity and competence . No ones ever keeps in touch , staff keep changing , for 9 months I have been messed about only to be told they can no longer do the work Appalling !!!

They said that can take my job over Green Home Scheme voucher, then three weeks later they said SORRY we arefully booked. For that 3 weeks I had to email with 3 different people over there.
