I have read the poor reviews but these do not match the excellent service I received. Columbian coal can be very hard to source but there it was on the easy to use website. Delivery was rapid and the product was dry and in good size. The coal is low ash residue and ignites easily in an open dog grate fire. It burns with a very strong heat. Would recommend this company.

Prompt delivery, well packaged, good price and simple to order.will definitely be using again and recommend coal hut.

This company is the worst ever. Read reviews, approached company and cancelled order on the back of bad reviews. Spoke and messaged several times, each time assured of money not being taken, (it was in pending), they still took my money even after cancelling the order.
This is to my mind THEFT.
Still waiting for money to be refunded.

Ordered 20x 25kg smokeless fuel which arrived last week. After checking a couple of bags I found out that all the coal is soaking wet. See photos as a proof. Every time I tried to ring them I'm told that non of the managers is in at the moment and they will ring me back as soon as. That not happened yet. Please avoid this company at all cost!!!
Dear coal hut, I'm going to ring you every day and escalate this problem with the Trading standards and Consumer Ombudsman!

Ordered house coal trebles and received what can only be described as dross. Individual pieces of coal barely the size of a grape

This is the worst coal company I have ever dealt with I live on a narrow road with 2 houses at the top They wanted to leave the coal at the end of this road Doing so they would have blocked all the traffic on the main road Because it is a single track road I explained the in the past drivers have used an electric pump truck To get to the top of the road they refused And took it back to the depot but still charge me a delivery charge Definitely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I Phone another company Who delivered my coal and took it up right to my house

As said before,DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY,MORE RIP OFF MERCHANTS THAN COAL MERCHANTS.
Ordered a ton of smokeless coal,the coal is soaking wet,I have to cut a hole in the bottom of every bag and let the water drain out.This isn't a small amount of water,some bags have copious amounts. They can only do this to make the weight up,its a rip off.Never again.

Ordered a special offer, bags are more full of dust than coal, soaking wet, very difficult to light, will never use coal hut again, better off paying that bit extra for the proper stuff.

Do not buy from Coalhut, their black friday offer is fake! Their Colombian Coal Doubles is supposed to be £30 cheaper during the sale but it's actually £10 more expensive than it was a couple of weeks ago!! Other products are only £10 cheaper as well. What a con.

Excellent service, fast delivery and a very good quality of coal. I would recommend this company to anyone.
