Transferred an ISA without any issues.

When I transfered to CMC INVEST it was quick, easy and smooth. I have not had any issues so far. CMC INVEST offered the best interest rate for ISA's and still do, despite all savings institutions lowering their interest rates.

In the process of trying to transfer away from CMC and they keep declining the transfer away stating that the policy number is incorrect despite, me copying and pasting this from the client site and website directly into new providers system. I have also called them and confirmed that the policy number is correct, promised call back but again nothing and the drama goes on!

This has been at a time interestingly enough, when the American market was very lower, so my investment went down, which is understandable, but the holdup in CMC wkring out a basic policy number has meant that the american market has now recovered I have lost out on the recovery growth and yet they are still not responding in a time refresher. Avoid!

So far so good. The ISA transfer process to CMC was the quickest and smoothest I’ve experienced so far. In fairness that could also partly be due to the previous provider but the application and set up was quick and easy. The app is simple to use and the interest rate is market leading , though that could obviously change. No complaints so far

Found the CMC Invest quick to assist on some queries and requests for Cash ISA (transfer and producing ad hoc statements).
The team is friendly and responsive.

I opened a new Cash ISA with CMC and transferred £20k into it, which was all very easy and quick - they took my money immediately!! They did immediately reduce the interest rate though!! I then read the bad reviews here, panicked and made a request to withdraw my £20k immediately with 2 x £10k withdrawals one after the other.

The first £10k went into my current account 3 days later. But the second didn't. I messaged CMC on the app and waited 1 week but nothing happened and no reply. After a few days, I received a separate message about needing to verify my funds.

So, I phoned CMC which was easy, they answer very quickly, but there is pretty much no security over the phone. They said my account had been frozen until I provide evidence of my funds, which I did.

After that and 9 days after my original request to withdraw the the £10k, it was back in my CMC account, so I phoned them again and they said the payment had been rejected but they did not know why. They told me to request the withdrawal again, so I did.

I then received a message that they needed more evidence. I phoned them to ask them what they needed and they weren't able to advise.

A day later the £10k was back in my account again! I requested it to withdraw again and, finally, after 11 days and lots of messages and phone calls, they allowed the withdrawal. I have asked them for interest on the 11 days the £10k was held in "limbo" but they have not replied.

I am closing my CMC account now as it is very poor on security, they take ages to process refunds, restrict/ freeze your account whenever they feel like it and the communication on the ap is diabolical (phone is much better but low on security)... they also reduced the interest rate as soon as I opened the account and I lost interest whilst my money was held in limbo between accounts.

I had a great experience setting up my cash ISA with CMC Invest. They were very helpful when I had questions. They were great when I called to discuss my ISA transfer which I initiated on the App and my previous provider were being very unhelpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

This company closed my account without reason apparently a 'business decision'. No other explanation. I had invested, not made any changes, additions or withdrawals. I recommended them to friends. This company has proved unprofessional and untrustworthy. For what seemed a good choice has proved to be the opposite. Stay well clear.

Tried to open an account, but their system wouldn't accept my post code. I emailed twice in the last week, no reply. I will stay well clear

Still unable to get a funds transfer from selling shares been over a week now a week.
Have made a formal complaint no resolutions 30K locked up & unable to access.
I would advise to use some other share trading platform & stay clear of this one

Opening the new cash ISA and depositing cash was fast.

However, I asked to transfer a cash ISA from another provider on the 11th of April 2025 and it is still pending one month later (we're now 27/05/2025).
The customer service is useless as they barely read the secured messages and ignored the attached screenshot of conversations from the other provider. They not only are super slow but lack reading skills.

I was the one having to explain to them how to proceed the transfer request as the other provider requires to have forms being sent by post, which I had to explain three times to CMC, attaching screenshot of my conversations with the other provider.

I read some reviews here stating the transfers were quick for them. Sadly, this is not my experience at all. I do not trust CMC Invest and given that my transfer will probably never complete, I will take my money somewhere else.

Recently completed an ISA transfer using CMC. The process was very straightforward and easy. I appreciated being kept informed (via the app) throughout the process.

Ease of transferring my ISA, regular progress updates, easy to use app, so far so good. A great rate...long may that reign! Also spoke to a "real life person", who was helpful, informative and friendly.

Was amazed at the speed of my ISA transfer to thanks to CMC and Moneybox for that. Opening up the account with the app was a bit tricky and frustrating but got there eventually. Very good interest rate and long may that continue please :)

Smooth transfer in of my Cash ISA account from another provider and great interest rate of 5.7%. Good experience so far.

Transfer was made quickly and efficiently. Kept informed every step of the way. Great rate of interest. What's not to recommend. Excellent service.

Moved my ISA to them attracted by a bonus...

Had to chase up the bonus, they claimed an "adminstration error", they did pay it in the end.

App is poor compared to others, and customer service is hopeless. They ignore emails/secure messages, so you have to phone them. A little odd for an "app" product.

When I wanted a small withdrawal, a few months later. Email confirmation said 3-5 days. I never received the money.

After two lengthy calls to customer services, they told me it was MY FAULT for not chasing it up as there was an internal hold on the payment!
I had no notification of this mysterious hold. They didn't actually need anything from me, so I don't believe them.

First CS promised the payment would be made within a few hours. Turned out to be a lie.
Later, the second CS said it would be another day to process...I get the idea they don't know what they're doing. Not great for an organisation holding your money.

UPDATE: Finally recieved the withdrawal (7 working days) after:
1 secure message (never answered)
3 phone calls
Account is an "easy access" cash ISA.
