On wednesday 24 september I withdrew money from my CMC cash isa account to be transfered into my normal bank account to help me pay my bills. That type of transaction usually appears as 'Bank credit CMC Market invest". The money left my CMC account since 24 september at 00:06 and it was supposed to reach my nationwide bank account in two working days. Today we are monday 29 september and still no sign of my money anywhere. I need answer. I have lost trust in CMC.

Edir : After calling them and reaching some of the team members who helped me a lot (we have to give them credit) we could fix the issue. Therefore my ratings went from 1/5 to 2/5. Indeed I am waiting for the fund to be credited to my bank account before further raising my rating.
Second editing : finally the issue got fixed with the help of CMC invest staff members who even called today to make sure everything was fine. I call that good customer services. Therefore I decided to raise my ratings

Transferring a cash ISA to CMC from my previous provider was a simple and easy process and I was kept informed by update messages.

Very slow setting up transfer. The interest rate was slashed so I cancelled and closed account.
Hell of a job to get past their bot. Never again.

I have a cash ISA with CMC which I am trying to transfer to another provider. It was easy to set up the account (with what was a good interest rate) but this then dropped drastically.
Despite my new provider contacting CMC more than once, their transfer department seem to have no record of them doing so.
I have telephoned, emailed and messaged but am getting nowhere.
Meanwhile my money is sitting in an account which now has a low interest rate.
Looking at other reviews it seems that I'm not the only one having these difficulties so be warned.

Trying to transfer out my cash isa with no end of problems. The new provider needs a sort code and cmc do not have one as they are not a bank. I have sent a message today to the new isa provider hopefully to find a solution
Also it takes days for them to reply to a message in my case 15 days
Be careful should you want a cash isa with them
I would steer clear for piece of mind

CMC Invest offers both reasonable interest rates & is simple to navigate through.
Screens are simple & succinct. Agood example of how online investment companies should operate.

I opened my Cash ISA with CMC Invest Ltd with no issues and transferred my existing Cash ISA into my CMC account quickly . They reduced their rates drastically and within my rights I want to access my funds by transferring it to another Cash ISA provider but CMC Invest are not responding any of my emails . I sent them my transfer form and the letter already been sent out to them by my new provider . Unfortunately , they are not communicating with me or the new provider to initiate the transfer . PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS !!!!

I opened a cash ISA account at CMC Invest (CMCI) in early June at 5.7% AER variable (including 0.85% bonus for 90 days). But on 16 June, CMCI decreased the 5.7% rate to 5.44% even though the Bank of England did not reduce the UK bank rate at their June meeting.
When I tried to withdraw money from the cash ISA back to my other UK bank account which was used to transfer money into the ISA initially, I was surprised that CMCI required me to upload a bank statement of that UK bank account (I had never been asked to provide such from any other UK banks). After my uploading, CMCI took 2 days to "verify" my statement.
Then, worse still, I withdrew £1 from the cash ISA fo my other UK bank account. I was shocked that it took SIX days to reach my other bank account. CMCI's serious delay in money withdrawal from my cash ISA is totally unacceptable!

I can't get past verifying my email. I signed up a month ago and after several failed attempts, they asked me to phone them to sort it out. When I did, they confirmed that it should be easy to fix and if I sent them a screenshot they would fix it that day. That was 12th Aug, and I sent the screenshot by email the same day, the title was my application reference number. I'm writing this on 3rd Sep and nothing has happened.

Transfer of cash isa into CMC Invest was faultless and very quick, a fantastic service would highly recommend on my experience so far thank you.
Although I have to say I’m concerned after reading the negative reviews on here regarding customers trying to withdraw/access their money,hopefully this is a bump in the road and it won’t continue.
Keep up the great work CMC invest and banish those negative reviews.

Hopeless. Tried to sign up for a special "expires today" ISA but web site was too busy to allow me to fully register. Since then I get bombarded with "why didn't you complete your investment" spam mails from them. Useless.

Early days but the transfer was completed quickly and smoothly

It all seemed fine at the beginning, but as soon as I intended to withdraw money from my flexible ISA, that's when my experience went downhill.
You are required to provide bank statements for withdrawing money (which is common practice, and that's fine). However, having bank account evidence checked / approved takes far too long. I've been waiting 5 days now, and I still can't access my money.
They also don't work weekends, so that probably adds to the problems experienced.
It's a shame to moan like this, as everything else has been fine. But when you need your money, having slow systems in place is too much of a blocker for me. Especially so when you consider how much competition there is, and easier / smoother experiences to be had elsewhere.

I've updated this because it's become even worse!
Not only are my bank statements not enough, I now have to speak to them to verify details - which wasn't in anyway made clear to me before hand.
I'm still waiting to access my money. If I'm totally honest, I think it would be faster to transfer the money to another provider and withdraw it from them...

Customer service is excellent. Thank you Harry, Marco and all. The experience felt like a personal service. The app is easy to use and straight forward. There was a drop down on the isa screen about where to draw money from to buy shares. The option I saw defaulted to the general invest screen and my eyesight even with glasses is poor so I did not notice. So I went round in circles until I saw that all I had to do was use the drop down to select the ISA account to pay money from. I use a magnifying glass sometimes to help so it wasn't a problem and actually quite useful making it easy to select an account from which to pay for shares. I am happy with security options. Also bank transfer is easy. When I sent an email asking for a stock to be added I gave a quick explanation why I thought it was a good investment and it was added which was a nice surprise. i have set up a stocks and shares ISA and feel happy putting money there knowing there are people to call who are easy to talk to.
