My website went down, poor initial support

My website went down after using the Cloudways Staging Management tool. I talked to support who created a ticket, but after 15 hours the problem still was not resolved - their suggestion at the end of the ticket was effectively 'please check it yourself'.

10 years in web development, never had this before.

I then contacted Cloudways support again (the next day). Hamza Sherazi responded (who hadn't worked on the ticket) and fixed the problem in 5 minutes! Give Hamza a promotion please! Not all heros wear capes.

Poor support, except for Hamza, who rescued my site!

Since then Shivani, a Cloudways Customer Success Manager has reached out to me with an apology, which I appreciate.

Excellent platform for developers
I’m a developer, and Cloudways has been one of the easiest and fastest ways for me to deploy client projects. The platform is very developer-friendly, and the server setup process is smooth and straightforward. I’ve recommended Cloudways to many of my clients because it saves a lot of time and reduces deployment headaches.
One of the biggest advantages is scalability. As projects grow, I can easily scale the server resources without complicated migrations, which is a huge plus for production environments.
Their technical support is also one of the best I’ve experienced. The support team goes out of the way to help and is quick to respond whenever there is an issue or even a small question.

Exceptional until they are not

Exceptional until they are not. Downgraded my site to save money and ended up spending more. Maybe 3 times a day I had to use their support and realized that the support I thought was perfect is mainly AI generated. They broke my site and then had their fake apologies and sorry for your frustration generated at every turn while NOTHING was done to fix the issue.

They then blamed everyone but their servers for the issue. Until I found evidence that switching servers could cause the errors I was seeing. Lost 2 weeks of business and then asked for a bill reduction, which after 1 month is still graced with their AI apology slop.
