Outstanding customer support. This was my second time working with Danish at Cloudways, and once again, he delivered. Not only did he restore one website—he brought all three of our sites back online.... See more

In terms of hosting, we've had no issues. When we needed them, however, their support was nowhere to be found.
Our credit card expired. They immediately sent an email to an expired user. Two days later, they sent me an email - implied I had received the first one - which said "we are disabling your servers and removing your login." Before I could react, sure enough, login not working and website down.
You can't use their support chat when your login is disabled. You can enter your a credit card but it rejected four different cards we tried even with multiple zip codes.
There's no phone number to call.
Live chat support on their website - I didn't see it. Only a Sales inquiry form. I submitted one saying I needed urgent help.
Their email billing@... took 13 hours to get back to us.
I'm now on an email support ticket and it takes 48 hours to get a reply. That support may be fine for hobby websites but they are an awful choice for anything commercial.

Cloudways strikes a strong balance between managed hosting and real server-level control.
The platform removes a lot of the typical friction you run into with traditional shared hosting while still giving you the flexibility to manage applications properly. Staging, backups, scaling, and environment management are all handled in a way that fits actual production use.
Performance has been stable, and I haven’t run into the kind of inconsistencies that tend to show up over time with other providers.
From a workflow perspective, it’s a much cleaner setup — fewer surprises, fewer workarounds, and a more predictable environment overall.
If you’re building and maintaining sites long-term, this is a setup that makes sense.

your team and Haroon Asif gave me very impressive service to solve my problem. Asif did his best to fix as best as he could. Finally, we could make it, and I could restart my working. Many thanks for your support this time.

Nehal was helpful and stuck with the job of getting a difficult caching issue handled.

I have been working with Usman over the past several months. He is very knowledgeable and responsive.

Extremely disappointing experience with Cloudways support.
We provided clear logs, timestamps, and technical evidence showing PHP crashes, FastCGI failures, connection resets, and Cloudflare-related errors. Despite this, support continuously responded with generic explanations and avoided addressing the actual facts.
Instead of analyzing the evidence, they repeatedly shifted the blame to “application-level issues” without engaging with what the logs clearly showed. It felt like they were talking around the problem rather than looking at it.
Even more frustrating is that Cloudways uses Cloudflare as part of their integrated stack. When errors like Cloudflare 1016 occur, it is not reasonable to claim zero responsibility. As a managed hosting provider, they are responsible for the full environment — not just parts of it.
The support responses felt like they were generated from a template or by an AI system, repeating the same conclusions regardless of the data provided. There was no real investigation, no ownership, and no willingness to acknowledge the actual issue.
In practice, this turned into an endless loop of replies with no resolution.
We expected a managed platform to provide stability and competent support. Instead, we experienced the opposite.
Very disappointing.

Ali Raza helped me restored a column from my db that i had deleted by accident... he saved me life!

He was Salman Khatri — respectful, creative, and fast in his work.
I would also like to commend that my decision to host with you was the right one, instead of going directly with DigitalOcean hosting, due to the availability of 24/7 direct technical support and resolving issues properly.

Very impressive, not only their advanced technology and partnerships, but their agency support.
Our account manager, Aiman, is an absolute star. You can tell she actually wants the best for us, not just selling services. It's very very rare to meet a rep who has your back, and will do whatever they can to help you.
Since moving across to Cloudways, I can honestly say we are delighted. We should have done it earlier. Our agency is spending less time on hacks and slow sites, and more time doing high value work.

Hamza guided me every step of the way.
He's knowledgeable and passionate in what he does.
Truly a wonderful guy.
Anyone one out there who's using GoDaddy? Who's your daddy now? Cloudways is!

I have tried many servers over the years and without a single doubt, Cloudways is top of the line. I run a relatively large nonprofit for mental health so reliability is key in my book. I'm not the best programmer, but having these guys have helped me maintain the platform myself saving the org. money and removing the worry of reliability. If you heard about these guys and come across this review, I'm real and you should move your website here.

I really liked the prompt reply that I got from Noor Ul Ain and how she was too much at the point and just helped me immediately to fix my temporary limitation that hindered me from upgrading my server. She was very helpful.

I had an amazing experience with Usman Bin Maqbool today. He did a great job showing me how to use the entire platform and now I feel empowered to be able to use the service at its most efficient capacity. Job well done!

I’m really disappointed with Cloudways.
I’ve been using them for a while and honestly, everything was fine until 2 days ago. On the dashboard, there’s a box on the top right called “Client Billing & Reporting.” I was just curious about what it is, so I clicked on it.
While checking the details, I accidentally clicked the “Select Plan” button and that was it. No confirmation, no warning, nothing. I got charged immediately.
I was shocked, but at first I thought okay, maybe this can be sorted out. Most professional companies would handle something like this fairly.
So right after getting charged (and without even using the service), I requested a cancellation and refund. And their reply was:
“Refund is only possible if you have faced any downtime in the server operations or malfunctioning of the add-ons.”
Seriously?
No confirmation step before charging, and then refusing a refund even though it was clearly a mistake and the service wasn’t used at all?
Honestly, it feels like a trap. Really disappointed with how this was handled.

Service is great, but support is awesome.
My website had a DoS attack, Hamza Sherazi from support was experienced enough to tell where it's pointing, and suggested/implemented 2 layers of security measures to be added to prevent/stop it.
