It is really ashame that 99$ is paid…
It is really ashame that 99$ is paid and then the company sold. Ridicilous; 99$ lost it. idiots.
What a rip off.
What a rip off.
Buy a lifetime license and a couple months later get the email that Image-Line Products (FL Studio) has bought CloudBounce and the license is worthless.
Its dubious at best and theft at its worst. The fact Image-Line offered essentially nothing in return is just insult to injury. A free version with free updates. If I wanted FL Studio I would have already bought it.
After numerous emails asking for an explanation, IL just ignores the problem. Its now December 2025 and notta.
Being shady is one thing, being so tone deaf to the customers you ripped off is a choice. Image-Line if only in good faith, should have honoured the lifetime licenses. Speaks volumes about how they view thier acquired clients.
Total Scam
Total scam. I bought the Lifetime plan a couple years ago and now they have ceased being a company. Total bait-and-switch tactic that seems premeditated with hopes of me being willing to switch over to FL with a subscription plan. Not a chance that is happening. The people involved in this scam are con artists at best. Do not use their products.
Image Line CloudBounce takeover..…
Got an email today informing me CloudBounce is closing down and that the new parent company, Image Line, is offering me a discount on "a perpetual license of FL Studio Fruity Edition with Lifetime Free Updates", as well as "access to FL Cloud Free Mode including Sounds & Mastering".
I purchased lifetime access to their service via their desktop app some time ago..and I don't want to use FL Studio..I already use a DAW I'm more than happy with!
This sucks big time and shows a complete disregard for customers in general. If Image Line has taken over CloudBounce, then they should continue to honour the existing lifetime service purchases and not be trying to strong arm those customers into buying their products in order to use what they've already purchased!
Really pissed off with both companies and I can say in all honesty I will never buy anything ever again from anyone associated with either of these companies. So sick of businesses like these who think they can pull stunts like this and that it's ok to do so..lifetime should mean lifetime..it's not like they went out of business..the service still exists, but is now moved over under Image Line's control.
Just tried to log into my CloudBounce account and got an onscreen message that says "Incorrect Credentials..Please Try Again"
After this, I'm washing my hands of them and will make it a point to advise others to avoid both companies like the plague. 😡
Not so Lifetime Subscription
Bought the Lifetime subscription only to be told months later that this had been bought out by Image Line and now it won't work. Cloudbounce or Image Line have done nothing to provide a solution for the customers who bought the 'lifetime subscription' or not so lifetime in this case. Neither developer taking on any responsibility but quite happily pocketed all the money. Meanwhile they are just hoping that people stop asking about it. Disgusting service.
Bought the lifetime plan app
Bought the lifetime plan app. Company sells the mastering tech to FL cloud, promising vaguely to offer lifetime customers the opportunity to try out a cloud subscription service via FL studios. The app runs on my computer, FL cloud doesnt. FL could easily takeover the server and keep the app running for lifetime members... shady. A couple of years use is not a lifetime. I have plugins from a decade ago that i still use. People that buy something with lifetime marked on it should have offline access, and be able to access the purchase they paid for, very scamy behaviour. They should be offering lifetime members a refund. If they do the right thing i will change this mark. Also I will be back with whatever FL studio offer that wont work for me.
Never again...
Its a scam
Its a scam, Bought a "lifetime" plan, when it was on sale, seems the "lifetime" deal is just as good as their services.
Its a scam.
Just rude
This company have a service which includes no consideration to clients who ever they are.
Have had politely asked them for an email change to my account for 3 months as a results the staff just didn't answer my email anymore. Avoid them.
In my capacity as a discerning mix…
In my capacity as a discerning mix engineer for esteemed artists, I undertook the endeavor of mastering two tracks, each possessing an exquisitely crafted mixdown characterized by a judicious application of a limiter and nuanced multiband compression below 60Hz, ensuring an optimal 6dB headroom for the mastering process. The expeditious upload and prompt turnaround, within a mere five minutes, underscored the commendable efficiency of this AI-driven system.
Regrettably, the merits of expeditiousness were overshadowed by a profound lapse in audio fidelity. The resultant mixdowns exhibited a lamentable degradation—manifesting as a sonic impoverishment marked by an unsettling flatness, undue thinness, and an unwarranted proliferation of high frequencies in the uppermost range. This departure from the purview of mastering raises a pertinent question regarding the veracity of labeling this service as such. To categorize it as a mastering solution would be an affront to artists committed to sonic excellence, as it yields results akin to an auditory travesty.
A disconcerting lack of communication further compounds the deficiencies, with the additional constraint of being confined to the mastering of one track at a time. Such a myopic approach disregards the holistic nature of album mastering, an integral facet of ensuring sonic coherence across an entire body of work.
My credentials as an academic engineer, boasting a track record marked by hundreds of millions of streams and sales, underscore the gravity of this critique. To submit such subpar results to aspiring talents, under the illusion of genuine mastering, is a disservice to the artistic integrity of the industry. My scrutiny was not arbitrary; it transpired through the acuity of a Benchmark DAC3 paired with Audeze LCD-4 and PMC monitoring—testament to my unwavering commitment to sonic excellence.
In summation, as a mix engineer entrenched in the upper echelons of the industry, I assert unequivocally that what transpired in this instance does not qualify as mastering. Rather, it serves as a mercenary instrument for opportunistic capitalists, devoid of the nuanced artistry intrinsic to true mastering.
My counsel, rooted in experience and a commitment to the sanctity of artistic expression, is resolute: engage the services of a mastering engineer, selected judiciously by scrutinizing the credits of your favored artists. To do otherwise, entrusting your art to this service, is to court the peril of its demise.
Awful customer service!
The product is okay with minor bugs. However, customer service is awful— not helpful at all. The issue arose from being promised a 'welcome back' discount in an email, sent to me at 3 in the morning. A few hours later, I tried to use the code, but it didn't work out. According to the customer service representative, it had expired the day before. Why send me a promo code after it already expired? When I tried to reach out again, the customer service agent completely ignored that question. However, this is just one of many occasions I had to contact them for bugs in the system e.g Awful, awful. Stop being awful, Cloudbounce, and value your customers.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. The Cloudbounce desktop app was very lagging/slow and seemed like it had some kind of bug. I raised a support ticket, but they were no help even when I sent them a screencast of the problem. Then when I tried to access the online version I couldn't login even though I'd purchased the "desktop + web" subscription. I contacted Cloudbounce support and got the run around by what can only be described as the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The quality of the mastering is average, the technology and customer service have made it a very unpleasant experience. The genre presets are basically a waste of time, with practically no discernible difference. I'll be cancelling ASAP. I don't recommend Cloudbounce. Such as shame that the final stage of my music production process (which should have been fun) has been tarnished by this joke of a company.

Great Mastering Tool
I was using the pay-per-use tool in the past and have recently changed to the subscription model. At first wasn't a fan of the idea of having to download an application but it works a lot faster than the web interface, so makes sense. No issues, great results -> happy customer 😊

Newest merge ruined EVERYTHING
I have been utilizing cloudbounce for about 4-5 months now and couldnt have had a better experience with what i needed done. it was simple, straight forward and game me everything i needed since i was new to mastering. But earlier this week. i was trying to access my desktop app and was in a loading loop. i did my usual IT checks to see why it wasnt working. Come to find out it wasnt a ME problem. I tried loging into my CB account only to find out that i no longer had an account AT ALL. I contacted customer support and told me all was fixed and that i could login and merge my account. Strange that i didnt know there was a merge happening. Yet again i tried to merge my account ( UNKNOWN ERROR ) and still DID NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT. I am still waiting for customer service to respond, so i can get a refund and get on with a different mastering service. Because this company has lost my trust. they are incompetent and lack communication. Why fix something if it isnt broken? They shot themselves in the foot.
The response
"Sorry about your issues with the merging. If you're still up for it, please contact us directly and let's see what can be done to help you, thanks!"
Is quite unprofessional, these guys dont care about the customer clearly, just about their $$$

The access doesn't work since hours
The access doesn't work since hours. The app doesn't work and the access in the internet says not allowed. Funny guys. Working since years and paid for it and now they kidding me. The support didn't answer. So what the hell should I do? It's a desaster.
Yes, it's right that it worked one day later again. But at that moment we need it, it was a problem we can't finish the mix and lost money. So we keep the 1*.

A complete waste of money
I paid for 1 month subscription, I tried to download the desktop app but due to some sort of coding error on their website, the file I downloaded kept taking me back to the website and would not work.
I couldn’t upload my large 1.87gb mix but was told through the chat support to download the app to upload larger files than 1gb. I explained that it wouldn’t let me download the app and they said in response ‘that is strange it should let you download it’ without offering any support.
I tried to get a refund but Kristian on the support team told me they do not offer refunds. I read their terms and conditions and they accept no responsibility for any failings on their part.
A waste of money and a bad experience all round.

I use the Cloudbounce desktop app!
I use the Cloudbounce desktop app. I highly recommend it. TOP TOP! If you check any plugin vendor sites you might be able to find a pay once lifetime deal that comes up sometimes. It is well worth it. Just make sure your mix is good and your master will be great.

CloudBounce is AWESOME! With great support!
Save a TON of money on mastering. I've used CloudBounce to master several albums containing some 20 songs each, plus dozens of singles. It's hands-down a fabulous tool that puts mastering at our very fingertips, with plenty of room for adjustments to suit individual genres, styles and tastes. Their support via CHAT assistance is outstanding! Armine in the Cloudbounce chat (and also through email) demonstrated great patience and competence helping me fix a problem with my account renewal and credit card security issues, and Anna referred another issue to the tech team and they fixed it in 5 minutes. Don't hesitate to get this amazing desktop app! You will wonder how you ever managed without it! Check out my newest 22-song album called "Guard Over America" on Spotify, to hear a sample.

I can’t reply to cloudbounce’s response…
I can’t reply to cloudbounce’s response to my original review, but please don’t anyone fall for their nice act. It is not simple to cancel and their tone when I contacted them through PayPal was far worse than their publicly visible review. They told me tough luck and happily took my money for months for a product I wasn’t using or able to simply cancel, with no remorse and told me it was tough luck, with no amicable conversation and refused my request for even a partial refund. It is not as easy as they say to cancel and asking me to message and they will happily sort any problems? What a joke!! I tried that and was told tough luck! Avoid this company and don’t fall for their ‘friendly and helpful’ public spiel. Absolute scumbags.
Can't beat a pro, but I can't afford one....
If you can't afford a professional, then this is a better option than trying to do it yourself to a standard that would not show your lack of experience. If you are experienced at mastering then this is irrelevant. It will reveal problems with your mix, (which you may blame on the AI), but if you remix in response to the mastered file as a final tweak, it should produce results suitable for any platform.
