KidsGuard by ClevGuard: Expensive Disappointment That Fails Basic Promises

I purchased KidsGuard expecting a professional monitoring solution, but what I got was overpriced bloatware that fundamentally fails to deliver on its core promises. When I tried to get a refund after just one day of testing, ClevGuard refused to honor their money-back guarantee.

The app is shockingly slow and resource-intensive. The target device becomes noticeably sluggish within hours of installation - apps take longer to open, scrolling becomes choppy, and the overall user experience degrades significantly. For a product that claims to run discreetly in the background, it's remarkably intrusive on device performance.

Perhaps most damning is the catastrophic battery drain. The monitored device goes from lasting a full day to needing charging by mid-afternoon. This completely defeats the supposed "stealth" nature of the app - when a phone's battery life suddenly plummets, it's obvious something is running constantly in the background. Any tech-savvy teenager will immediately investigate, making this monitoring solution worse than useless.

The marketing promises comprehensive monitoring, but the reality is disappointingly different. Features that supposedly work "in real-time" are delayed by hours. Data syncing is unreliable at best. Key advertised functions either don't work at all or work so inconsistently that you can't rely on them when you actually need them.

The app feels like it was built without any consideration for efficiency. It's bloated with unnecessary features that don't work properly while somehow failing at the basic functionality you actually need. The dashboard is clunky, reports are incomplete, and the whole system feels like it was cobbled together rather than professionally engineered.

After experiencing these issues within the first 24 hours, I immediately requested a refund. ClevGuard advertises a money-back guarantee, but they refused to honor it. When the product so obviously fails to work as advertised from day one, any reputable company would process a refund without question. Instead, ClevGuard keeps your money even when their software is demonstrably broken.
This refusal to refund tells you everything you need to know about this company's integrity. They know their product doesn't work properly, and they're banking on customers giving up rather than fighting for their money back.

For the premium price ClevGuard charges, you'd expect professional-grade software. Instead, you get a resource-hogging, battery-draining application that's more likely to alert your teen that they're being monitored than actually provide useful oversight. The performance impact alone makes this app a non-starter.
Save your money and look elsewhere. There are better solutions available that actually deliver on their promises without turning the target device into a slow, battery-hungry paperweight. More importantly, choose companies that stand behind their products with legitimate refund policies.

ClevGuard still hasn't processed my refund request after one day of use and clear evidence that the product doesn't work as advertised.

The resolution is issues in the minimal time is highly appreciated, especially Sara from the technical support. She is awesome and will always come back with the best solution for our problem facing in a very short period of time.

The product is good when it works

The product is good when it works. However, in my case, it stops working every 2-3 days. I had to reinstall for it work, but problem kept happening. So i wasn't able to use the product. They refused to give refund despite the fact that their technical support couldn't fix the problem. Their response is go to your bank and get a charge back!!

Ultimately they gave a 50% refund and i am left with a product that doesn't work

Edit: i always wondered what will happen when they ask you for the order number and you send it to them. Well, now i know. Nothing...
