I was a student on this course and here…
I was a student on this course and here is my experience and review:
The coaching calls are overcrowded and you don’t really get to learn anything because to many people are trying to ask or answer questions at the same time whilst one of the Cp team members are covering an important topic and can't wait to the end for Q & A. The team has their notifications switched off on the slack channel so there is no way to reach them for feedback and the only way is during a coaching call which you can imagine everyone trying to get all their questions asked that they boiled up during the week,
There should be various caching calls with less students on each call, I mean if they have nearly 2000 students in the course x the amount paid by each person then you should have enough capital to be able to have more coaching calls with less students instead of everyone cramming into a zoom call.
There should be breaks in the coaching calls for Q & A and not interrupting the person that is presenting. (You end up losing focus).
There are only in fact 2 coaching calls a week that are presented by the experienced CP team (Tuesdays and Thursdays). The other coaching calls are held by students who are only 5 or 6 months into the course who have no industry experience. I thought the success coaches would be either of the CP team members or people who are experienced. Their business model is built up on students helping students, I mean you can get the same slack community for less money, Andrei Neagoie's Zero To Mastery Academy or courses on Udemy also have a slack channel with an awesome community.
I tried to do a 1 on 1 call with a success coach that the CP team provided for me, who I honestly thought worked for them and guess what... the guy didn’t pitch.
I was really excited and woke up at 6am for the call which was scheduled for 6:30am, waited until after 7am and not even a courtesy email or message on slack that the guy couldn’t make it.
When I reported this to the support team, nothing came of it nor was there any effort made from their side.
I think that is where my motivation and excitement for the course ended.
I did mention it in the feedback form that the coaching calls are over crowded but nothing came of it.
I paid a lot of money for this course only to have the coaching calls and the course modules streamed to YouTube so don’t see the value that this course has to offer besides great marketing.
Their course content is pre recorded videos and you can access their exercises for free on their GitHub account or watch their videos via their YouTube channel.
Maybe you have had a better experience then me but that's just my experience and so I have decided to rather invest in a bootcamp. PS: I did get my money back, thank goodness. Is this course worth the money being spent, oh hell no!!!!
Boost of confidence!!!
I cannot say this enough but these guys are great coaches! From programming to mentoring, they really cover it all. And if they don’t, they will find someone to make sure they got what you need! Sometimes I get days or even weeks that I don’t feel like working but every time I’ve watched and listened to their tutorial videos and attended their weekly video conference and it never fails me to feel motivated and wanting to continue push for the finish line. You need a boost of confidence in preparing you to be a better programmer? Talk to these guys!
I bought the entire Package
I bought the entire course load that was offered. I am almost done the Profit with JavaScript regular training modules and have learned a lot with just them. Honestly, just this one JavaScript course is worth the cost for the entire package.
You can go out and attend a lot of bootcamps or purchase a lot of other courses but you don’t have to. The return on investment for purchasing CleverProgrammer and being a part of an awesome community of coaches, trainers and like minded fired up students is mind blowing.
I simply have not found or heard of this anywhere else. If you want to start; this is really a great option.
The Profitable Programmer..two thumbs up!
I bought one of the courses on cleverprogrammer.com for my boyfriend who has always been interested in learning programming. Let's just say I got the "Best Gift Ever" award lol. He has been watching the videos and working on programming non stop since he started!

I Quit My Job
Profitable Shortcut was the best investment I have ever made in my entire life. I've taken so many courses. I've been through ever type self-development, coding, business course you could think of. The moment I joined this course I knew it would be different. Immediately you're greeted by the entire Clever Programmer team. They invite you into their community where everybody else is trying to do the exact same things you are. They all invest themselves into your success. Some courses when you sign up you're on your own. Not this one.
Thanks to Qazi and the CP team, I quit my job. I work for myself now, and I make more money doing it. I'm so grateful for these people
